Has the best form in the race when pushing Ballymore fav Envoi Allen close and beating a potential champion hurdler in Darvar Star. He quickens really well and with Davy Russell in the saddle there's no better to judge the pace. Joe Donnelly allowing both AF & Shishkin is a red flag for me.
4:50 - Espoir De Guye - Mud lark trained by Venetia Williams, what more could you want? Bumped up a stone after destroying a field at Ascot but he was well ahead of the handicapper that day. Jumps soundly and races handy. Will be there at the finish.
5:30 - Carefully Selected - Another selection with the best form in the race when 3rd to RSA fav Minella Indo last year. He went from back to the front with real power that day and the step up in trip here makes perfect sense.
Supasundae or Ballyandy winning here would be absolutely tremendous.
