Nice to see title rivals dropping points.
One could only hope IS would redeem the situation of a rocking Anfied in May.
Why is everyone so eager to be title contenders? It's been pretty clear since day one that City are going to win it.
City should win it but they're doing a bit of bed shitting at the moment. As always, let's see who comes out of Christmas with few injuries and near the top as they're going to be the ones making the run in.
City would be 100 points clear if Aguero wasn't made of glass. Silva's just about to come back though so they should have enough to stomp most people.
I thought Arsenal were going to make a run with City, but they just can't keep (any of) their players fit and haven't been able to for over a decade now.
Death, Taxes and Arsenal not managing to sustain (or even be in) a title challenge past December are seemingly the certainties we face in life now.
We did warn them.
That Santi Cazorla penalty miss has broke Arsenal. As a club they're too mentally weak to come back from that sort of thing alongside the injuries.
Piers Morgan is seething. https://twitter.com/piersmorgan
If anything it was Eduardo's injury.
The Arsenal Boom and Bust cycle might be even better than Liverpool's, particularly given we get about 8 cycles a year of it.
Wenger's an absolute genius for convincing everyone that there's nobody better than him.
That Chelsea bench is horrific.
Made the right decision yesterday by the look of it. My brother was there and just text me 'wank' about midway through the second half so was pleasantly surprised in the end to see we got a point out of it. By all accounts the game should have been done and dusted by the time they equalised though, so it looks like we're properly slipping back into the wonder years. Alexandr Hleb will appear on the right next week.
What a strange season.
A lot of that game yesterday showed why Martin O'Neill needs to find a different left back.
Higuain has been great every time I've seen him this season. A proper centre forward. He has just scored a crackerbagainst Inter a minute in. Napoli are lovely to watch too. I hope they win the league. Juventus are storming up the league though.
I saw a bit of Sassuolo vs. Fiorentina in the pub there. I see they're doing well in the league but are they actually good? Looked like some slick-passing-going-nowhere piss and wind to me but I confess this might be a bit harsh given it's the first I've actually seen them play.
Tad harsh, that.
