It tempted me to go and order some of the good stuff, but no joy

There don't seem to be many companies that do it (that 350g stick was a fiver from a farm shop), but looking for others brought this passive-aggressive masterclass to my attention, so it turns out to have been good value.
I go to a local butcher who make their own, it's night and day compared to the supermarket shit.
Although that's the case with all of their products.
My local butcher makes his own but puts that mealy oat and seed shite in it. Not nice at all. Does British stuff tend to be smoother?
Gotten massively into rice pudding recently. The muller custard one is mega.
Make it.
I've been going through this thread a lot recently. Just a quick question, would there be any interest if I created a spin off to it? First reply was Boydy and his chicken rolls and sweet chilli for example, I'd like to recreate it with my own twist, complete with costed recipes. Yay or nay?
Don’t see why not. I’d be interested at least.
I mean, on the one hand I don't think this thread is so busy it couldn't just be done in here and people could check specifically your posts.
On the other, moar fredz.
Missus bought me the smallest 'jumbo' sausage ever with my chippy tea and I'm throwing a paddy.
What the fuck is that.
Not exactly helping the international reputation of British food here lad.
If that was the carrot it looks like, that could almost pass for a nutrituous meal.
Ignore the haters DS and tell me what that is on the left.
It looks good. Gravy's a tad light though. It should be like tar.
Babbys yed
I'm a twit
Bairn's heed.
Miserable sausage and gravy aside, that looks good.
Steak and kidney pudding
The gravy was real good, surprisingly gloopy despite the colour. Other chippy near me clearly uses granules and its piss
The place I used to go to had gravy that was more like a thick paste.
If it’s not the gravy from a nordy chinks then it’s second rate.
Just noticed that the pasta looking things are just soggy fries.
They're called chips.
Had a go at making hone made chicken kebabs this evening. It was incredible. Although I'd use more chicken thighs next time.

There's something really moreish about chicken thighs.
Chicken thighs are the best bit.
What'd you put in your marinade Spikey?
It is the best bit though. Chicken breast is dry and flavourless.
Genuinely looks like you've shit in a bowl.
You've got problems if your shit looks like that.
Pomegranate molasses? Who has that on hand?
Talk to me about melons lads.
Trying to eat a bit healthier whilst the e weather is warm and went with a couple of honeydew. One good, one bad.
Watermelon seems like twice the price and comes with seeds, which leaves me with galia or canteloupe.
I’m thinking canteloupe might be the winning summer melon. Tell me I’m wrong.
Cultural appropriation.
Watermelon is the ultimate summer fruit.
At the 'cookout'.
We generally get crap watermelons in the UK unless you buy it from your local subcontinent grocer.
