I've been similarly worried about eating too much and my fat ass getting fatter. Especially because I often eat out of boredom. Decided to start just eating one meal a day. Yesterday and today have gone fine so far but working tomorrow will be more of a test.

The key to this one is a slightly drink (e.g., a coffee) around midmorning and a large meal around 3.

I eat a large portion as one of two meals a day. Just up your portion till you're set, you can't OD off this shit.

I'm going to give it a try for sheer variety but be warned, if this causes my stomach to rumble for three hours while selling metal it is on your head.

I'm doing the 5:2 diet combined with Intermittent Fasting on a 16:8 basis. It works for me. I'm starving on Tuesday and Thursday, but I can eat whatever the fuck I want between 1pm and 9pm on every other day.

I was led down this path due to the great COVID milk shortage of spring 2020 and let me tell you, there's no looking back any more. 1500 calories can be had with none of the bloatedness that cereal gives you and it's piss-easy to make and transport.

I feel so strongly about it I'm giving serious thought into taking advantage of the broken high-street once this is over and getting it franchised cause it's a game-changer.

Seeds and nuts for breakfast is sound advice. I find the extra fats in the morning really helps with hunger. Protein and fats in the morning works wonders for me.

My go to when I'm trying to be healthy is one of three things, over night oats with seeds and protein powder, 4 eggs with extra egg whites or greek yogurt mixed with protein powder and whatever toppings.

Eat breakfast at 7 and then full till lunch.

Actually finding this easier when I have something to focus on. And I feel I can focus better. Only thing is I'm pissing more from drinking way more water than usual.

Still, I'll have built the new Twitter in no time.

I got the full list of ingredients earlier (including 'milled seeds', the self-checkout thing asked me to confirm I was homosexual before it let me proceed), if this doesn't go right then Persia burns.

Taz fucking knows. I have only coffee for breakfast, but were I to bother with eating in the morning, I’d probably do some combination of yogurt, peanut butter, seeds ( :zink: ), fruit, and nuts.

I've been all over IF for a few weeks now (16-8). Main benefits are the amount of water I'm consuming and how well I'm sleeping. Weight loss not so much.

Authentic Italian is more light and airy, no? With the big air bubbles in the crust. That's what I was hoping for but didn't get.

This is the best pizza I've made. I think it works best if you smear the sauce and toppings onto the dough as soon as you start frying it, cook it for a couple of minutes on the hob before putting it under the grill for 3-4. The dough needs more salt than he says too.

@Jimmy and whoever else: my top tip for making porridge is to chuck a handful of All Bran on top of your porridge before you cook it. Turns into a lovely rich brown colour as the All Bran breaks down. Add seeds (yes, Taz ), drizzle of honey, sultanas, etc. as desired. So filling.

And man does it keep you regular...

You could just put wheat bran into it, since bran cereals are just that and sugar. It's already broken down for you as well.

    Georgian food is stunning.

Those look like the dumplings with a little bit of soup inside too which are great.

Without wanting to disappear down the spaghetti show-off wormhole, what sort of flour did you use?

You need high protein 00 (ideally something like Caputo) and use a breadmaker to make the dough if you have one. Pizza peels, expensive home pizza ovens or heavy things you put in your oven are all well and good but not really necessary imo.

Yeah, I only had plain flour so that might be part of the problem. There are recipes out there for plain flour though but maybe that is just how they turn out. I don't have a breadmaker, no.

Might try again later in the week with longer kneading and a longer proving time.

You dont need a bread maker. I have a kitchen aid I use quite often but it's just convenient. We have been making dough for years without any extra fancy equipment. Try and get some stronger flour if you can or even go down the sourdough route.

You’re going the wrong way about it. Porridge is a long-lasting, filling vehicle for other nutritious and delicious ingredients - being as adventurous as you like.

And it shouldn’t be claggy at all, Giggles. It should be smooth and almost creamy.
