All cola is childish shite, but if I had to have one I'd take the cheapest possible own brand shite with maximum sugar. What's the point otherwise?

The sugar tax means cheap own brand shite is now full of sweeteners and the only way to get maximum sugar is to pay three quid a bottle for Fentimans.

That probably dates me a bit in terms of when I last bought a fizzy drink.

If you're drinking enough Coke to need a sugar free version then you're drinking too much Coke.

I only drink the sugar free version. The proper stuff is like syrup.

Proper coke is pretty good to be fair.

7up free and fanta zero are my two favourites though, haven't noticed much of a difference between them and the real deal.

Making a Balinese fish curry thing tonight, Rick Stein one. It's my favourite kind of recipe - interesting mix of ingredients that I wouldn't usually use, but once you've actually sourced the stuff from an Asian supermarket and thrown most of it in the blender you've pretty much done all the hard work. Ideal with my lack of patience and motor skills.

IDK about the orange version, but lemon fanta zero is RANK which is disappointing given the proper stuff is one of the best fizzy drinks going.

You know what's truly great? CapriSun. Why do they only sell it in containers where it's finished in 5 sips?

Made scrambled with haloumi and pancetta instead
