You have to remember, this is not a democracy. Someone runs the forum, and set's the rules. They can ban and remove anyone as they see fit.

After repeated warnings where he wasn't given points, he finally managed to push it over the edge. He would have been unbanned today but instead he created an alias every other day and is now banned for the next nine weeks.
He only has himself to blame. No-one else on the entire forum has any warning points. None. And that's not a matter of people picking on him.
Harold got one point for that comment, which tipped him over the edge. He also received one infraction for all his racist shittery in his 'Apartheid was bad but...' thread when he could have had one each for his first three posts in it. So let's not be silly.

Just to clarify, I know that link he posted was more a final straw. I don't think he should have got the point for that post, but he can only blame himself for the previous bullshit and probably would have picked up point within minutes elsewhere anyway.

He definitely shouldn't have got one for that. There's similar or worse things said all the time and half of us would get points every day in keeping with that. I suspect the chance was just jumped at instead of waiting for a really punishable post.
He's still an idiot though who shouldn't have let it get as far that he needed the single point for the ban at all. And the follow-up alias run just nails the fact more.

Harold got ten points, which we're definitely comfortable in saying he's earned many, many times over. He copped the standard two week ban, with the standard extra week extension for every alias he's made or attempted to make along the way. I have no doubt that once he's clocked his way through that, he'll be back boring us with his presence. Until then, let's just enjoy the peace for a little bit.
