I've not seen their stats from the campaign but Norway look like one of those teams who could go eight or nine games without a goal. There's just no ability, no ambition, nothing.

We are playing without strikers. Never did that before.
I'm watching the darts. That League Two game earlier has put me off football for a bit.
It's a pity - I'd have liked both Norway and Hungary to make it to the tournament proper.
Hungary get their second.
EDIT: One for Norway. They're back in it, but with next to no time at all, and two goals required. You'd think it's unlikely.
EDIT II: Henricksen got both goals.
Hungary are through. First time since the 80's, which is pretty cool.
I'd have preferred Norway but I've never seen Hungary qualify for anything before so it'll do. They played some nice stuff tonight. I think it's going to be a really fun tournament in between the terrorist attacks.
I'd take Hungary for the romance of them being in a major tournament for the first time in... whenever. You can root for them. Norway are just bland.
I thought Norway were appallingly inept, right on the edge of cowardice. Wimped out of every challenge, took the safe option every time even though they were chasing from the off.
At least Scotland fail gloriously.
There was no glory in this year's failure.
There was loads of glory in the Germany and Poland games. Less so in Georgia.
I don't think we can really call the two points they gained from those glorious. That they should have had about seven only makes it a bigger failure rather than a glorious one. It's hardly comparable to the 2008 qualifying campaign (or the 1978 World Cup from which I assume "glorious failure" became a thing).
Hungary are most definitely not entertaining. They're about as bland as possible and are among the most boring teams I have seen. Northern Ireland was the only team in our group with any entertainment factor to their name. I would've preferred Norway as I wold've liked as many Nordic teams in the tournament as possible.
Walters for Ward. Positive, but awful compact looking.
Dunphy has nailed it here really. Hoolahan too advanced and Brady a liability at left back. It's like O'Neill didn't watch the first leg at all.
Surprised to say this, but Bosnia are somehow even duller to watch than us. We should take this no bother.
I'm just afraid that we'll out some moves together without threatening and they will grab one from very few chances due to having some actual class in the side.
Also, is Brady really the best in that side to deliver a set piece? He's awful at it.
EDIT: He's better than Hendrick anyway.
Hamilton bigs Brady's delivery up every time we get a free, and then he fails to beat the first man.
Penalty, come on!
Didn't know what happened there. Never even seen the handball.
Perfect penalty, what a man.
The did the ball hit the trailing arm?
Aye trailing arm was way out from his body. Looked a penalty to me.
I'm hardly renowned for being biased, am I?
After all the chat, Keogh always looks like he's doped up to the eyeballs.
Jesus they're going to just try sit on this aren't they? Dropping ever deeper, recipe for disaster.
They fucking are
Have to be one of the only teams in existence where an early goal is a bad thing. I'm still on Bosnia for this.
How the fuck is Spahic still on the pitch?
EDIT: Fucking Jonny Walters
Bosnia look an absolutely atrocious side to me.
Jon Walters could quite easily be effective in any team in the world.
Are the Irish fans singing "you're not singing any more" in an English accent?
Aye, Bosnia have looked dreadful throughout both ties.
Walters. What a team this is.
And if Dzeko is seen as world class...
Job done. Walters is some yoke altogether.
Irrelevant decision, Bosnia had to score on the night and they didn't.
I have to say that Giggles' posting has been magnificent throughout this whole affair.
It was praise. You have actually been very entertaining.
