I've never read anything by, about, or featuring Troy Townsend that didn't leave me thinking he was a complete prick. Odd, since Andros Townsend seemed like a decent chap when he turned up to do a bit of punditry wherever it was.
I've heard a couple of podcasts with Troy Townsend on and he actually comes off alright, surprised to see you feel that way. Some of the messages he said he's received over Twitter about his him and son were disgusting, even including death threats against his family.

In terms of the very top level the fact that most 'BME' managers are British probably holds them back as much as any issue regarding race.
