I feel asleep before Cena-Styles started.
I take it the event went downfall after that match then
They were clever putting Reigns in at 30, without that Randy Orton would have been pointing at the sign to absolutely no reaction.
That was terrible
The Rumble was awful, with no surprises, and a load of jobbers to be destroyed by the obvious five big men. Strowman eliminated everyone except one person while he was in, I believe, then Goldberg gubbing Lesnar inside a minute again makes you wonder why anyone would want to see another match when Goldberg is obviously 1000x better than Lesnar. Reigns is going to be in the final four every year he isn't champion. Kofi was pointless this year too, and basically nothing worthwhile came out of the whole match.
Everything else was standard WWE. Cena/AJ was alright, but I was wanting them to end the match about 15mins before it actually finished.
It's still all shit, basically. See you for Mania
Baroque Les-nar is surely going over at 'Mania, since he will just be dead and buried otherwise. Plus it would mean Goldberg having to pick up his slack for at least two years, as he is the only draw big enough to run through people six times a year and justify the level of protection Les-nar was previously getting, which he isn't going to do. I think their spot made sense in that respect, so that just leaves you wondering what Undertaker was brought back for.
To get pinned by Reigns in thirty seconds, obviously. The two main events of Mania will last five minutes total
EDIT: Oh fuck I've just read dirtsheet Mania title rumours It might be even worse than last year.
Taker could get Strowman but he might have Boo Reigns. So we're looking at Bork v Berg, Haitch v Rololins and AJ Styles v Flair Cenahhh as confirmed (near enough) mania matches.
Cryptic pseudo-spoiler?

Actually after watching the shite festival that is the Rumble match. Taker may get Boo Reigns which could be lol.
The only way I could see this being saved would be to have Bray Wyatt win the belt before April and have the Wyatt family crumble completely with the Orton v Wyatt match.
I've seen some people predicting that as well. But would they really only give Cena a two-week title reign (assuming he loses at Elimination Chamber)? I could believe it if we're talking about some random scrub but golden boy John?
I really wouldn't be surprised to see it stay as Orton vs Cena at Mania.
Samoa Joe!!!
Edit: If that means Nakamura to Smackdown for him to fued with AJ then fuck me! Check out their Wrestle Kingdom match for reference.

I could see Orton, Cena and Wyatt in a triple threat as no combination of them in a 1vs1 match appeals at all.
There is zero chance Cena has a two week reign. Even if he did, there'd be even less chance of him just going "oh well that's that then" and not getting his rematch at Mania. Orton Vs Wyatt for the title just has no logical path to it. It either has to be a Triple Threat, or Orton has to lose the title shot.
Also Vince apparently detests triple threat matches for the title. That being said someone with the backstage power like Cena or Orton would mean he could be convinced they deserve it fairly quickly. Someone like Wyatt however would be very hard pressed to.
The only way Cena has a short reign (and it would be taking the piss) is if he's breaking the record at Mania. There's no way we get Wyatt Vs Orton unless it's not for the title (due to Orton losing the shot at Elimination Chamber).
Also any company that lets Bray Wyatt be their World Champion, even for a month, needs to be shut down.
I thought that that Triple Haitch promo was hinting at Tonga Jeff, but I figured he was dead and moved on. Tonga Jeff.
I wonder where this leaves AJ Styles for Wrestlemania, then?
I can't see who on the roster is near his level and he hasn't already beaten over the last six months.
The main rumour isToggle Spoiler
Yea, that's what I've heard. God I hope not.
Bobby.
Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I like this clip, "If JR called the Rumble": http://streamable.com/x8344
As much as it'd be out of nowt given they've done bugger all with him for however long now it still wouldn't be their stupidest decision as to who to give their World titles to.
Tonga Jeff. Him vs. Rollins at Fastlane before Rollins/HHH at Mania? Rollins the babyface of course, having just threatened Stephanie's children.
Bray wins EC. It's been the rumour for weeks now.
I could possibly see Cena losing it quickly, with the idea of him breaking Flair's record at Wrestlemania and making the big deal out of it they seemed to forget to do when he matched him.
I've just spent the past hour on my death bed watching the Royal Rumble. What a waste of time that was.
Indeed. I think it has to be the worst Rumble match of all time, and probably comfortably so.
Seth is hurt again so look for all plans to change and HHH to win the chamber before beating Orton, Cena, Lesnar and Goldberg all by submission.
I had heard about Triple Haitch vs Seth Rollin[g]s at 'Mania, but Tonga Jeff showing up made me think that they would feud through it. Was the plan to just bury Jeff in a month and then force Haitch into his annual return from retirement?
The Rumble during which Mark Henry was ferried to the ring on a golf cart cannot, by definition, be the worst one ever.

Wrestlemania though, that sounds like it's going to be an absolute stinker, Cena / Orton (in 2017 no less) looks like the best match.
This year's Rumble match was better than most as an actual match (at least until all the big contenders turned up to clean house and get eliminated within seconds), it's just they usually have Honky Tonk Man turn up or someone like that.
The Undertaker looking properly fat and broken was the worst part, he was moving like Khali. Should have chucked it in a couple of years ago.
He had hip surgery a couple of months ago. I think the logic is that he'll be recovered by Mania, but had to enter the Rumble to setup the angle with Reigns. I think they were hoping that he could hobble in, stand around a bit delivering a few chokeslams, then take 1 bump to get eliminated.
His match with Shane last year was a bit crap, but I thought his matches with Lesnar at Summerslam and HIAC were great. And Lesnar hasn't had a decent match with anyone since then, so I'm not sure he's totally past it just yet.
Taker vs Reigns sounds utterly turgid, a guy who can't wrestle anymore against a guy who never really could in the first place.
Reigns is a great wrestler, let's not suddenly pretend he's not just because his character is shit.
That superman punch they gave him needs to stop I reckon. They should give him the one winged angel.

Reigns is good, but like Ambrose with that rope clothesline thing they really need to limit the amount of times he does that superman punch.
He can't carry a match for someone like Taker, it'll be unmitigated wank.
So apparently, they're going for John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse at Mania.
That's not even the worst bit. They're doing AJ vs Shane for some mad reason.
I'm all for Miz getting elevated, but that's a waste of John Cena. I'd just have him and Styles go again on the GRANDADDY OF THEM ALL.
He'll propose in the ring. Nailed on.
I'd let Orton and Wyatt have the title match instead, Cena and Styles sells itself already.
We're back to none of it really making any sense. Hardly a shock these days though.
I agree with both of you. Reigns is perfectly capable of holding up his end of the bargain against somebody really good but he's not carrying anybody.
I also don't think the proposed Cena/Taker match would have been much cop either. Undertaker just needs to give it up.
I think I said on here but I definitely said to other people that I thought up to.... the first third or so I think, it was really good. It was starting to wobble before Strowman went (though his elimination was good), then it died on it's arse for what felt like hours and then it properly shat the bed when the biggest names were in. And of course the the last stages of it were as disappointing as they were shit.
