Elsewhere, my friend's brother works in Jerusalem, and this week he went to Tel Aviv for a hair transplant. I assume the whole process of missile interception allows you to see where the missile is likely to go, so any that do 'get through' are presumably of low priority in terms of being stopped. I would also assume that any significant military infrastructure probably comes with its own air defence system generally. Paired with everyone in the country being in secure shelters it's probably quite hard to inflict significant causalities with such ranged efforts, save by landing the debris on random mooks.

Sorry to be a typical lefty Corbynista, but I think Israel are, on balance, the "bad guys", in the context of the War itself, but I'm under no illusions that the other side are top lads either. I'd say I'm 60/40 on team Palestine, and I think that's reflective of most people one way or the other. I don't think THAT many people really are taking sides in the way you imply, and social media nutters will definitely exaggerate the perception that they are.
There are no good guys or bad guys in the same way there's no right or wrong.
All we can do is just kick back and watch the civilian death toll mount up.
In the west we are conditioned to root for underdogs. Palestine is a clear underdog so people sympathise with it. When the Islamic Republic starts getting involved I think a lot of that probably dissipates.
