The last time Iran postured like this a few months ago, they fired a couple of shitty missiles and a pack of drones earmarked to get shot down over eastern Ukraine at irrelevant targets, just to show they'd done something.
Iran need to step it up big time. The April attack was nonsense. I guess if they do then it's a sign they're shitting themselves about Hezbollah being neutralised.

The BBC are reporting that the dome is stopping "most" of the missiles, but from the videos all over twitter it looks like Israel is getting its shit rocked. If they're actually hitting buildings, rather than landing in the middle of nowhere - as James says - then it's hard to see this not resulting in a wider war and I would not want to be in Iran right now.
The Yanks need to get on with this election so whoever wins can actually deal with this.

What are rockets normally meant to do?
I can't remember which Gangster film it is, but in one of them you get a scene where a made guy accidentally kills another made guy from one of the other families, and the Don's all sit around a table basically discussing who needs to die to make it all OK, because the other Don has to respond to not look week, but also doesn't want shit to spiral.
I suspect conversations like that are going on behind the scenes and they've basically got some shadowy Israeli to deliver them a nod on doing this. That's the only way it makes sense.
