That was the best Villa game of my lifetime. Not the best performance, but the all-round package – the occasion – was incredible. And such a fitting result too, we were very very good.
That Duran goal is proper fucking football. 95% of modern players would hold it up there and look for a runner.
He's the most instinctive player I've ever seen. His thinking time is almost zero. It's either some kind of natural gift, or he is just arrogant enough to believe in himself every time. His real-time reading of the game and the way play develops is so advanced for such a young player.
Rogers, too, is absolutely mustard. Bellingham vibes. His post-match interview was properly impressive too for someone so young.

The rise of Rogers is insane. We bought him for £1m last summer. Three months in, didn’t look all that good and struggled to get in the team. Thought we’d hit the jackpot selling him on in January after six weeks of good form in the Championship. Yet here we are.
