100m in 10.2 seconds. 200m in 20.69 seconds. Sixteen years old.
When can we bet on him to break both WRs?

I'm a twit
I'm not sure those times are that good at 16 and he's probably already 27 years old anyway.
10.29 for the 100m and his 200m time had heavy wind.
His start is crap and he'll need to sort that out.
The afterburners are pretty categorical there, to the point they probably need to put a huge swimming pool at the end of the track so he can stop.
My suspicions were right. Bolt ran 20.58 when he was 15 in the 200m. He didn't start doing the 100m until a few years later so no comparison for that one.
Good to see AE making a name for himself.
20.33 in the 200m for Erriyon Knighton at 16.
What sort of name is Gout Gout?
Aren't sprinting times a bit of an exponential curve in that there are probably tens of thousands of people who can run 10.5, thousands who can run 10.2 but not even hundreds who can break 10s let alone get down to Bolt levels?
Mahow will have the intricacies of his technique down by 2028 and will let us know. Might even be coaching him by then.
Perhaps he's banking on a French take on his name – Gout Gout = flavour flavour (well, taste taste, strictly, but they use 'gout' on crisp packets so it's good enough for me).
Yello-Oh Yeah.mp3.
Okay, now I really want him to succeed.
Gout Gout is old news.
When do athletes start getting tested for PEDs? Can you just load every inner city 12 year old with HGH and hope for the best?
