For the midfield line-up I would put Jude Bellingham deeper next to Declan Rice and have Phil Foden as the number 10.
Better than trusting Alexander Arnold in midfield.
England should have more than enough to win today but the Serbs front two should be able to bully that left side of England’s defence in the air. Declan Rice is also going to have to play the most disciplined football of his life

I think his logic was to simply give Bellingham more time on the ball. I can ... sort of see it but he's not that type of water carrier, is he? I dunno, I don't see him every week.

I quite like TAA as a cm in theory. Rather that than having Bellingham deeper, and it's better than the likes of Henderson and Phillips.
It's just a bit baffling that he'd send Maddison home, only to end up having to play a right back in Central midfield because of his passing range.
