Have you checked the renewal prices? Those foreign domains are quite often cheap to register then a lot more expensive to renew.
thethirdhalf.co.uk is available, we should've got that. In fact, I'll nab it now.
It's a fiver a year to renew I think. I'll check later.
I had planned on getting a UK based one before we went live, but the old forum dying while I was busy stopped that. .uk domains where on offer at £1 recently too.
