Over £1k this week.
Over £1k this week.
I check in most days.
Likewise, although a bit less of late.
Yeah, same. I just kind of assume its ticking along nicely. If anything goes wrong, I'm sure the haters will add a few pages to the thread to let us know.
I just check the spreadsheet most days. I suppose people like the stream for accountability more than enjoying the numbers.
I check the stream every day at least once, just to see if there are any dramas
Probs every other day, just out of curiosity/boredom. Re the overall 'plan', let's just keep this slow and steady thing going. It's only been a month and a half.
Agreed, it's going well, why is changing things up even a consideration? Let's see where we are in December and then discuss what mechanism there is for people to withdraw.
The discussions is about what happens on 17 December as Baz and Daddy B withdraw. A new round of investment will only help speed up the growth, the settings aren't changing.
The thing is, failure is the expected outcome as the risk gets greater. Waiting til December is fine for the £100 crew but Baz has £2.5k that, if I was in his shoes, I'd be withdrawing.
Hear that, Baz? The man who has been too cowardly to get involved at any step across the way has given you financial advice.
Seriously, though. Taking the money you've gained out every month would be like a nice reset. Gives the bot a chance to become a more long-term thing and, for the £100 crew, they have a chance to get their initial investment (and the rest of the Mellin money) back.
Still, that pot's lopsided as fuck. £28k a year, Baz. Think on it.
Seriously, though. Shut up.
The fact that - as far as I can see - the bot hasn't made a loss on a single day yet seems quite amazing.
All hail.
Come December let's reset and allow new investment and withdrawals. Then we start again with whatever the pot is. I suspect most withdrawals will be offset by new investors.
I love how everyone presumes the pot won’t have been completely obliterated by December.
I'm a twit
If you were that confident, you'd have put serious money in.
The group where we originally discussed this bot is completely dead but I just asked:
The response:I'm still on 0.005 per 1k and the pot is up to £13,700 so autolot is presumably on 0.065. Just curious what will happen if it reaches £20k, and the autolot will obviously tick over into 0.1. So not 0.01 but 0.1. Seems awfully high! Should I disable autolot soon and leave it on say 0.08 or something?

He's the guy who lost £60k+ using daft settings.
I'm a twit
Soft shites.
But not fully grasping the relationship between lots and market moves makes me nervous, if they're losing their head at idea of 0.1 then maybe slow down our progression manually.
Another response, from the guy who discovered the bot (but not the one who learned all about it and compiled his own version) -
i’m not using the auto lot thing, i prefer complete control
disable it and just go off your experience at this point. for 13,700 id say 0.3-0.5
Gonna leave it as is for the time being, of course. He’s suggesting crazy numbers (or a typo). If it ain’t broke…
I'm a twit
I can understand why people get impatient and ramp stuff up, but it just adds unnecessary risk imo. There will definitely be some wild ups and downs between now and December, and we might end up being wiped out. But at least this way we're giving ourselves the best chance of succeeding.
There could be good opportunities to ramp things up in the aftermath of apocalyptic days. Give it a week and things usually calm down, but there should be much less chance of it happening again. A bit like how the safest time to visit a city is the day after a terrorist attack.
What if the thing you wanted to see was blown up? You'd be safe but disappointed.

What is wrong with you?
How long has Shinners been a troll? Doesn’t suit him.
Probably as long as this thread's been going.
The only thing that's got my head turned is Baz gaining over £2k in five weeks. I can picture what that kind of money could do for me. £100 into this gets you nowhere fast and you're relying on Baz's slice staying in the pot. And relying on the bot not going rogue once a threshold is hit. Thresholds that will be hit more often if the pile really gets away from you. At smaller pot sizes, the bot has at least looked reliable and rode out the bitcoin drop.
At least with the Mellin runs, everyone seemed willing to let that £100 go wherever it went. I can't say Baz is the same about £5k (£7.5k).
no risk it, no biscuit
Baz is taking the brunt of the risk, so gets the cream of the reward. I have no issue with that.
Yev could probably shove £5k or £10k in, but it’s a heck of a risk for something you don’t know a lot about. Baz is obviously confident enough, or willing to risk it for a big payday. He’s already what £2k down from his other runs? So right now he’s in for seven grand.
I’d personally rather it just keeps ticking along.
If there’s enough appetite in December you could do a SPLIT and have a trundler account, and a max-aggression pot.
If anyone wants to lose money more quickly, head on over to the stocks and shares account and follow my
Moves in there.
My tuppence worth would be to manually adjust the settings to keep it at 0.5 or whatever. Seems that’s backed up by the guy that lost a shit load too.
Oh and I wouldn’t put five or ten grand in, but if we go again in December with something long term at low risk settings I’d be up for a grand, which may well be covered by the pay out from the initial run anyway.
I really wanna see if we can run this long enough to make life changing money.
The guy who rewrote/recompiled the bot chimed in:
Not changing a thing.
I'm a twit
Waking up to it already being £118 up for the day
I'm a twit
Turning down £28k a year for this.
Not to mention £6k for your dad.
Sounds like this bloke is suffering from FOMO too.
You lot are hopefully now starting to see what I have to put up with when Shinners posts about Newcastle. He's beyond deranged.
He replies to people in the YouTube comments so I’m not really surprised.
It's been a hell of a page for wor Shinners.
