What custom tactics/instructions are you boys using?
Got this set-up for the 5-2-1-2 Waff.
Instructions for the back 5 are default, with the following changes for the other positions:
LCM: Stay Back, Cover Centre
RMC: Cover Centre
AMC: Stay Forward
SLC: Stay Central, Come back on Defence
SRC: Stay Central Get in Behind, Stay Forward
Ended up pushing onto 10-4 and hit rank 3. Some really good games in there, including the ones I lost. I was really only outclassed once.
If I could win 2 more and give away the rest I would end up in rank 2. Will have to decide tomorrow.
This is what I am rocking. I have a drop back ultra defensive one and two progressively more aggressive ones on my attacking and ultra attacking.
My instructions are:
GK - Default and Sweeper Keeper
RB/LB- Stay back, normal, overlap, stick to position
CBs - both default
RCDM (box to box) - Cut passing lanes, balances, aggressive, cover centre, stick to position. I use Bruno here and he is usually dead late game. This is a work horse position
LCDM - Balanced, Stay back, normal, cover, stick to position
RCAM/LCAM - Basic, Get into box for cross, stick to position, normal
CCAM - Basic, Get into box for cross, free roam, normal
ST - All default
I am thinking I need to play with the ST instructions but its working right now. I wonder if keeping Ronaldo central would be better for us over all. I probably need try it in SB's

Div 4. Only played 34 games of rivals.
That would explain why I'm struggling in Div 4 a bit then, if I'm playing players of your calibre.
Still, the game is so good I'm enjoying almost all of the games I lose as well.
Same. There have been some frustrating moments in both the wins and losses but overall I am really enjoying it.
Just had my most enjoyable win of the day, against a guy who was one of the best dribblers I've faced to date. He battered me on possession but he couldn't defend for shit and we took the 4-1 win with a 60 minute rage quit.
That's 1,256 points for qualification and with the 400 to come on Thursday, we're in the Playoffs again.

Picked up the Alaba OTW a while back for 36k as I figured he was nailed on for a +2 and as Madrid player I didnt think he would drop too far. He was down at 22k until his goal today. Selling for 57k and taking the profit while its there.

Thinking about picking up El Sha while he is down around 25k and would recommend to any one with spare coins to look at Ginter, Ilicic etc. Buy them, throw them in the club and just wait.
Great minds... That was exactly what I did last night, now owning almost all of each of the 84s. Tempted to cash out on some discard low rated informs to free up coin to fill in the gaps on the higher rated fodder too.
Oh and are we doing without those God awful UCL cards this year? I think their absence is making pack luck much better.

Looks like he only had performance related (TOTS, POTM, IF). I was thinking in terms of promos, like this, where they pick a name from a hat (normally the hat of already used names) and give them a card.
He actually looks like he'd make for an excellent Wing-Back, so I'm in.
Oh and had a massive nap after work so no playoffs. Off on Thursday and Friday so think I'll do it Thursday morning when Rivals rewards have dropped and hopefully a lot of people have just crept over the 1,500 point mark.

I wont get anywhere near that, 50 if I am lucky.. I played 4 last night and ended up in Div3. Will aim to finish the 7 for Thursday and slowly do some playoffs.
