Not sure if serious.
Not sure if serious.
That was so poor from McCarthy on the goal. The moment of hesitation makes it so much easier for Son.
Were playing well though, I'm not sure why weve switched to play such a high line but it's making the games a lot more interesting.
Glen Hoddle looks rough.
I'm a twit
Can we buy Son please?
If we win this game it’s despite Mourinho. Horrible manager. Relies on the dynamic duo to do every single thing. Tim Sherwood would do better. A lamppost would do better
Hasenhuttl needs a fucking talking to for not changing his tactics and that high line, when it clearly wasn't working.
He is so stubborn. He gets things stuck in his head and refuses to back down. We didnt play with a high line at all last season and finished really well, for some reason weve decided to play this crazy high line with exposes the defence and keeper.
Real issue here is the lack of a replacement for Hojberg, Romeu went off and weve been terrible since. Smallbone is no way near the level needed.
If Ings leaves / gets injured, Southampton are utterly fucked.
This season is completely retarded.
What happened to you guys? There was a point 5-6 years ago that you were on the brink of European Football, but it's just been slipping ever since. Is it as simple as Liverpool repeatedly buying all your players? If so, why has the recruitment suddenly turned to shit, because you used to pull some diamonds out of nowhere but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
After this weekends goal bonanza, we're surely set for a turgid 0-0 at the bridge later.
Fabinho at CB. No Matip or Gomez in the matchday squad.
It’s alright, Chelsea are playing four centre mids and an attacking mid at right back again.
Werner could have a very good day if he sticks between Trent and Fabinho.
I'd like to take back that 0-0. I'll be surprised if this isn't 2-2 inside 10 mins.
Who for Chelski is playing Right back?
Chelsea XI: Kepa, James, Zouma, Christensen, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Mount, Havertz, Werner
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Mane, Firmino, Salah
Chelsea: Kepa, James, Christensen, Zouma, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Havertz, Werner
Subs: Caballero, Barkley, Abraham, Tomori, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi, Azpilicueta
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Keita, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
Subs: Adrian, Thiago, Milner, Jones, Minamino, Tsimikas, Origi
That's a quality kick from Bissouma.
That was some sweet chin music
Klopp's water man looks like Klopp
Ouch.
Clumsy from the defender. Sky ticker is even trying to blame Kepa for that one.
If Thiago is any kind of match ready I'd be shocked not to see him on quickly after the restart. A man up, he could be given a free role.
How’s it a red if he wouldn’t have gotten close to the ball? Still, usual retardness from a Chelsea player defensively
What the fuck is that collar on the Liverpool jersey?
Mane
made look so easy.
Thiago's passing, dear lord. The prem has never seen anything like it.
Jesus, he really is shit.
Just fucking sub him. Fucking wanker Kepa.
I mean we have Karius for sale.
Romano tweeting that Chelsea will be signing Mendy this week the second that happened
VAR said 'checking foul' and all they checked was the offside, blatantly rushed. Such a shambles.
Enjoyed our game today but my god VAR is horrible. Instead of feeling elated when 2-0 up inside 6 minutes, your instinct is now to question every goal and penalty decision, and then only after confirmation there's a diminished celebration. I can only assume those still in favour of VAR are accountants, lawyers and robots.
I wouldn't care if they used it for red cards (Bissouma was rightly sent off imo), but please no goals, penalties or offsides.
On the bright side: Lamptey was again fantastic, £4million is laughable; an average age of 23 or something means we'll only get better; and although he changed formation mid-game, Potter seems to be sticking with 3 at the back to start at least.
Takes any joy out of most goals. It's already completely fucked up the NFL
Pothead can go die in a ditch. I wept at my guy's MOM interview.
When did BBC buy EPL?
Don't call it EPL.
They get some games when every one gets televised.
Is it not the EPL? EPD now?
Also, I’m not watching long but is that Andy Carroll up front for Burnley?
The commentator sounds like he’s a relation of Pickford trying to jinx Pope every time he talks about him.
All is forgiven Pickford.
Love how they’re not putting that 4th on Pope at all, if it was a dirty forrin keeper he’d be shredded to bits. Horrendous goalkeeping.
Anyone thinking a Burnley goalkeeper is good is a fool. There's about 8 men blocking every shot so the only ones getting to you are shots so shit they've managed to avoid all of them.
Another dreadful take from Phonics. No shocks there.
