In game it will be 3-5-2. With Blanc and Gerrard holding (well Gerrard is free to roam a bit), Zola and Tav on the wings and Bruno just behind Neymar and Lewandowski.
I think that should be pretty damn sweet.

I've only tried Bruno in friendlies (for Suarez) and he feels brilliant.
I've finished up my post-TOTY rebuild and ended up with this: https://www.futbin.com/21/squad/5780035 - lining up in a 4-4-2 in-game with Mbappe and Lewi up top, Desailly at CB and Koeman/Kante in the midfield.
So turns out 2,250 packs only gets me 1 TOTY. The 85+ x5 which I opened second to last trolled me with another Robertson.

Bar those from just completing the Suarez objectives I haven't opened any more packs since last night, so one hell of a stacked club now.

Although I'm hearing that Flashback Ronaldo is just as good as his gold card so I might sit on using Lewa for a while while I test that and sell him as a clean card if he is.

Did some more SBC's today but the best I got was a Reus.
Really disappointed not to pack one and it's the first time since FIFA 17 that I've failed to do so.
I even loaded up some points yesterday but they barely got used as they released fuck all special packs. Guess they'll go on packs for FFS.

How lol it is they've waited for the exact moment TOTY ended before releasing that Rooney card. He looks nuts, but linking him in is trouble. You're going to need 2 Icons with him at the top of the 4-5-1 or something.

Well. Apparently I finally packed zombie nation (AC Milan goal song) in all the madness. Might have to actually play with sound on at somepoint.
Played some Rivals tonight for the score and didn't quite realise how close I was to promotion. Ended up getting my points and promotion sorted and I got 50k coins as a result.
I'm now on 90k. I'll take the 75k from Rivals and then the resulting 30k from champs should see those packs tip me over 200k. An 84 or two would see me able to do it without having to chuck a big untradeable card in there.
Sold Saul (84 rated) for 14k. Madness.
I didnt come out of this weekend with too many tradeable cards but thats why I am selling/sold anything that I did!
With EOAE Rooney and FB Ronaldo we are now just missing the annual Tevez card to get the 2008 frontline together. Or I could go full 2005 United and get Ruud, Giggs, Scholes and Keane into a team.
Would leave Vidic (who I have) Rio and then VDS as available icons from that time period.

Don't think I'll bother with Silver Stars this week as I like Mukhtar.
You could do it at any time but you pass back to the keeper and when the ball gets to him tap x and pass to the side. He would kick the ball a few yards into space, follow it and freeze. The AI would be stuck behind an invisible wall and never press.

One thing I did notice in my division games last night was a lot of crossing, but mainly the prevalence of the 5 at the back formations. Most made mistakes to allow me to score, but I remember one guy in particular was very good at defending and it made the game absolute hell.
Literally within 4 days we have Rooney who is just better than him in every single way.
Affording him may be tough but I do want to do this card. Just under 3 weeks to try and raise coins for it. That said we don't yet know what Future Stars will bring.
It does throw into question my plans going forward. Assuming I finish Fabio this Friday, my defence is sorted bar a LB. Probably until TOTS. My attack is decent, but with Ronny/Felix there it becomes very good. Only really the likes of Neymar, Icons or upgraded versions of Rashford type cards would get in there now. The only question mark is my CDM/CM position.
Wijnaldum is coming to the end of his usable life really, but linking a successor is currently tricky. Aouar is also pretty good, but not irreplaceable.
My plan was going to be to take a leaf out of Yevs book. Save all packs and coins from now until TOTS. I'm not overly sure how I'd get on with that. There's always the chance of red player picks coming into the team I guess. But the plan was to be to just save so when TOTS does hit I can maybe but a few or pack a few of them. It also stands to reason that by then the top Icons(or at least better) will be available via SBC, so rinsing the upgrades into fodder would help a lot.
The problem with saving for TOTS is that the game is near the end of it's cycle by then. I'd only really do it (at least seriously) if you're not planning on getting 22 for a bit.
That's also on the mind.
Can't keep getting suckered into 200-400k SBCs every few weeks I guess.
This is the main problem - Rooney looks good but also a) I don't think his card will play that well in-game, b) he's not massively better than what I already have c) there will be someone along in a few days who'll be just as good. If I can skip a few SBCs for a month or so then I should be able to raise a decent amount of coin to pick up someone who can actually improve the team substantially.
It’s a cycle I need to break too. Dybala is great example. He’s a good looking card to have, then there’s been another in the same position a few days later. 200k a time.
It’s not too hard to get 200k if you play a decent amount so you do it. A week or two later you’re back in the same position when another new card comes out.
I’ve already done 3 or 4 like this. I could instead be looking at a Neymar or decent Icon for my team instead by now.

I had to sell Gomez to do it. 190 games on him, 0 goals or assists. I'm down to 4k coins, but I do have my packs to open tomorrow for the small chance of something. Thankfully no big untradeables had to be sacrificed.

Just had a horror show in one nation (still have England wins). I was 4-0 up and cruising, he was barely in the match.
Suddenly he grabs two quick goals and Gerrard is sent off for a laughable second booking. From there it's back and forth and I miss a few chances. He then grabs two in injury time (the second was my fault as I could have just smashed it down the field and the game would have been done) to send it to extra time.
He then makes it 5-4 but I turn it around and make it 6-5 but again we concede late and he ends up winning in injury time.
I can't believe I lost a match that I was 4-0 up and easily beating a guy until suddenly in the 70th minute EVERYTHING starts going right for him.
Have any of you gents come across this series? The audacious use of a copyrighted tv show's material is quite something. I've no idea what he's thinking.
I have seen the videos pop up but never actually watched any.
I imagine it wont last long though once the right (wrong?) people see it.
Icon swaps finally done now. I had 8 so put it into the base icon and out popped Ashley Cole who looks fairly decent and will be my starting LCB in my English team.
