Wolves were bang in it until that equaliser, we're going to Liverpool next so if we lost there then Wolves would have passed us with a last day win at Stamford Bridge (and winning whatever their other game is). Big sigh of relief.

I think Chelsea get top four regardless of the other results if they get 4/6 points. Liverpool don’t even have a record to go for now so you’d imagine that game shouldn’t be as difficult as it should be.

We are cooked - Rodgers has lost the plot and we are missing too many key players. Almost certainly will lose the last three games.
5th place can only get max 66 and that involves Utd/Leicester getting 7/9 each. We have 63 so we need 4 points regardless of other results; if we only get 3 points, then we'll need a winner in the Utd/Leicester game, or for one of them to drop points before the last day.
If we lose at Anfield and they both win out, then they could West Germany / Austria it and both qualify on goal difference. Well, unless we beat Wolves 10-0. It's critical we get something from Anfield (or one of them drops points) as otherwise I'm pretty certain they will just stand on the ball for the 0-0. There is no practical difference between third and fourth these days except for the few million prize money.

Don't really understand the argument that that is the thing we wanted VAR in to do.
It’s definitely not, but they’ve got to be consistently analytical about it given they’ve fucked it the rest of the season.
