Had they not taken off Saint Maximin just now I'd suspect Newcastle were going for some sort of record for most preposterous haircuts on the park at one time.

Well, there's always next year. I'll be saying that again after a 3rd round exit to Tranmere in January.

Non-Chelsea fans haven't cottoned on yet but Frank Lampard is proving himself to be a fantastic manager. On the outside they're looking for wanky tactics truck shit and philosophies mate - and can't get over the fact that he's English - but we haven't had a manager so able to say bollocks to this and positively impact the course of a game for as long as I can remember. We were abject first half today and he won us the game by being far more proactive about changing that (and admitting that the first selection didn't work) than 95% of managers would have been. Great to have him in charge.

As well as him and Jody Morris, we've also got Hilario, Newton (low key trophy winning killer don), and Ashley Cole is coaching the under 15s.

King of the Binmen sounds like more of a ceremonial role, and United's binman has the superior binman credentials there.

Depends which of Molde or Derby is the cushier gig. Frank had more gifted loan players from the mother ship, so I'd say his was.

Crown him with a dustbin lid. And adorn the ceremonial bin bag. In all seriousness, I think Ole is King Binman. He doesn't give off the impression he thinks he knows what he's doing.

Super Frankie Binman is higher up his respective club legend list, but Ole Gunnar Binman has a much, much stronger cultural claim to the crown. There is all the obvious 1999, 'Class of 92', Roy Keane, just enough exposure to Ronaldo to be able to tell stories about his professionalism shite; but most importantly he only played for one manager, so everything he does can be compared with and traced back to 'The Manager'. Super Frankie Binman, what's he doing here? Did he learn this from Jose Mourinho? Is this Big Phil and his Big Tactics? This looks a bit 'AVB' to me... His lineage is all over the place.

Privately educated, natch. One of about 5 footballers (as of whenever I heard this stat a few years ago) who was.

    Patrick Bamford is another.

Honestly can see Fulham slipping out of the playoff positions the way we're playing. Added to the fact that Mitrovic is probably going to get a ban, we've still got some tough fixtures left and don't look at all clinical in front of goal.

Steve McClaren was a proper cunt on commentary at the weekend though, felt like I was watching Leeds TV.

I was looking up that Darius Vassell taking a power drill to a blister story and got a bunch of "top 20 footballer injuries" and just seen this one:

Milan Rapaic - The former Croatia attacker was waiting for a flight in July 1995 when he poked himself in his eye with his own boarding card. Inexplicable, you might think, but Rapaic sat out a gruelling pre-season trip as a result.

Imagine being so lazy that you put a piece of cardbaord in your eye to avoid a friendly.

Feeling quite smug that I predicted a Northampton win and was right, but a bit miffed I didn't put any money on. Exeter struggled through the two legs and Northampton having turned around a 2-0 deficit showed they had the mentality.

Every footballer in the world apart from about ten can be criticised for 'poor decision-making', as it's a game played almost entirely on autopilot.

They're fucking falling over themselves to get out the heralded "WE MUST DO BETTER". Are we gonna have some Rooney rule brought in for playmakers even though the Crystal Palace dressing room looks like some cuckold gang scene involving James McCarthy's mother having to do a favour because he didn't pay his drug dealer?

I didn't even know it was an actual attribute until I saw that Mantralux increased Bacary Sagna's from 19 to 20 in her "accurate Arsenal" update.

However, we do not endorse any political organisation or movement, nor support any group that calls for violence or condones illegal activity. We are aware of the risk posed by groups that seek to hijack popular causes and campaigns to promote their own political views. These actions are entirely unwelcome and are rejected by the Premier League and all other professional football bodies, and they underline the importance of our sport coming together to declare a very clear position against prejudice.

It sounds incredibly gammon to bang on about players wages but finding out that Ozil has earned 5.5 million quid since he last played a match might have broken me.

I would genuinely prefer him to be out on loan with us paying 95% of his wages than this nonsense.

What has happened with him? Has he just turned shit somehow? It can't be an effort thing because he was always a bit of a passenger, he just made up for it in moments of brilliance.

It's the same as Eriksen before he left Spurs, except him wanting to leave made him being shit more understandable.

    Very odd.

Greenwood will end up a central striker. That's where he's played all through the youth teams. He's doing the typical start on the wing in senior football before going up front transition.

It took a massive deflection, it looked like it was going towards the opposite corner before that.

The Brighton bounce, such that it was, is well and truly over. God they're bad. Keeping playing out from the back lads.

I like Greenwood with his unexpected shooting, although that's not really an excuse for Ryan letting that first one in. Shit for the second as well although it was a massive deflection. That Shaw overlap was insane, imagine letting that fat sack of shit just coast by.
