Ceballos back to Arsenal, it seems.
They should be a lot better this year. Could be an exciting league, with Chelsea and Arsenal up there.
I'm sure United will be wallowing no higher than fifth, thankfully.

Jo-say's Spurs to run riot.
But then I thought last season would be exciting because City and Liverpool would drop off and the rest of the field would catch-up.
I think in all likelihood City will piss it and Liverpool are the only other team with any hope of getting the 90+ points it'll take to win the league if they can pull of yet another freak season. Being more exciting is rarely the way to actual success. You need to go through that phase, maintain it, but somehow then add a veneer of boring consistency without losing too much of the attacking verve.
It'd be nice to think that 4 or 5 teams could be in with a shout come April (or even December) but I doubt it'll happen.
The gap between us, City and the rest isn't going to be closed with signing no Hans or Jorge. This is the beauty of allowing the Klopp/Guardiola project to take fruition. 3rd place is their championship.
I don’t see the points total being so low at the top end this year. Half the division had more than 10 draws this year.
Coin toss between Liverpool and City at the top. Could be swayed one way or the other by some signings. Especially the big one. The 2 clubs have made it so you just don't scrape over the line now, you need at least a mid-90 point finish which is mental.
Chelsea and United will be comfortably in a battle for 3rd, clear of Arsenal in 5th who in turn will be comfortable over Spurs.
Wolves selling their best(and only?) right back for buttons is the kind of thing to push then to Burnleys steady 12th place level.
Someone engineer a prediction thread.
Kiko's started divorce proceedings.
Our front two leading the line at CL clubs. Tears in my eyes.
What's happening to Grealish? Wasn't he tipped by ITKs to off to Man Utd?
Has any of the ITKs came off?
Apparently Liverpool were keen on Adama Traore but Sadio Mané the scout said to get Sarr from Watford instead. Has anyone seen @Don this morning?
Also, Adama has Covid so avoid him anyway. Let him go play right back for Wolves.

They've talked about Van De Beek potentially coming for about a month and reported it was done the night before it came out in the media. Tracked Matt Judge's flight as well (probably)
Grealish was apparently all verbally agreed and then Villa suddenly upped their price and Utd backed out.
Some better sources starting to talk about Upamecano to Utd today. There's even some claims the release clause might technically be able to be triggered this window due to the wording but I expect that's bollocks.

'I know it looks like he got one wrong, but...'.
It's a fucking cult.
Isn't there some sort of wager on Grealish to Utd?
There is. Can't remember the stake though. Ł100 hopefully (think it's a tenner).
inb4 'The ITK's said they were happening, but He Who Must Never Be Wrong only said it might happen.'
Bare chickens and ting goin yaad to roost.
They're all still 100% on the Sancho is happening train. I'm very much not.
I can't see Sancho happening this season. I don't think we have the money.
We usually put out a brief when we give up on a transfer, which we haven't done, which is the only thing keeping a bit of hope alive.
PSG bid for Bellerin rejected are 25m.
Disgustingly low ball bid.
What's a fair price for a player who was last any good about 3 years ago?
Was he ever any good?
He was fast, and then his knee exploded.
Mantralux PA 198
Does he really even need to be that good to play at PSG?
They're not getting that close to the Champions League again and they win their league at a canter.
What makes you say they won’t? I don’t see any indication that they’ll stop being one of the top 8 clubs in Europe at which point it’s luck of the draw and a few games.
I could easily see them back in it. Who's out there that would definitely stop them?
I feel they got a very lucky draw this year. I believe Bayern, Juventus, City, Liverpool, United and maybe Chelsea are all at present better than them. And reasonably comfortably so.
Juventus lost to the team that finished 28 points behind them and that’s one of your more sensible suggestions.
Arsenal went with 3 CBs again vs Liverpool. They seen much more stable in that formation. Are you sure they are going with only 2 CBs?
They should probably sell Bellerin. Ł25m-Ł30m seems nice all things considered. He isnt a top 3 right back in the league. Cut him off and use the funds elsewhere
Chelsea
I disagree and suggest they went with 3 because Arteta only wants to play 2 at the back if one of them is a left footer.
Also left footed central defenders to seem to have become much more common. Have they always been about or is it because every team now wants one?
Beating the teams worse than Arsenal is worth about 80 points. Beating the teams better is worth 30 something.
Playing out from the back has become more common, left footed players can hit the ball at angles a right footer can't.
Who the fuck sees someone say 'about' and 'something' and then get arsey about the numbers not being exact.
Am I missing something? 80 + 30 is 110 (I know he's said "about" but I don't really get what point that's trying to make).
He's 28.
Also Arsenal aren't going to be winning many of those matches against better teams with their all out defence tactic. It might yield a few draws and the odd win, perhaps, which I suppose would be an improvement. Their game against Liverpool in week 3 or whatever it is could be interesting. They usually get fisted at Anfield, but no crowd, a few improved results of late, might be quite a good test for the smash and grab policy. They'll probably get reamed.
Taking a loss against the best team is OK. Its how they react to it.
