Supposedly Coutinho said he wants more time to decide on whether to join Arsenal, Spurs or Leicester so can only assume it's us if we win the FA Cup and get Europe, otherwise the other two.
Everton rumoured to want a 36 year old Ivanovic
Coutinho's probably just taking time to sort his affairs before topping himself if those are his choices.
He must be proper kicking himself about leaving Liverpool now. Little dickhead.
Ł10m a year and probably paying no tax at all says otherwise, but yeah, it wasn't the best dream to follow.
The worst thing about modern transfer wank is the normalisation of twice-translated Euro bollocks lingo.
'...working hard to find a solution for the transfer of Jadon Sancho', says Sky Sports. Fuck off.
Googled a person on Football Weekly I'd never heard of and on his Twitter he mentions the "First Team Recruitment Analyst" being advertised here:
https://www.manutd.com/en/club/jobs/...opportunities#
Being paid to say "Yeah Dave's gone a bit pants."To contribute toward the administration and delivery of a comprehensive performance analysis service with a specific emphasis on goalkeepers.
Just saw this on twitter:
Sancho doesn't seem to be 100% set on joining Man Utd and would even prefer to join Liverpool because of the bigger chance to win titles.
(Kicker)
It's the source that really make it :*****)
Sadly(?) that story is nonsense on many levels.

Milan Baros just retired
Yeah I saw a few weeks ago he was planning to. I'd just assumed he'd retired ages ago because I dunno when I last heard his name.
He wasn't that old was he? Mid-to-late 30s?
I was at a Sparta - Banik Ostrava game a month ago and Baros came on in the 85th minute or something, and my reaction was more or less equivalent to the emoji phonics used in his post
Ferran Torres to City looks to be all but done.
White Spanish wingers
I remember when United were in for Joaquin and Vicente to replace David Beckham and Ryan Giggs. Jesus, that would have been closer to my birth than now.
Pablo Hernandez played for 'that' Valencia side and he's back in the prem

How did nobody buy David Villa until he was almost past it?
As FM was basically an indication of real life. You couldn't sign Joaquin from Betis. He never wanted to leave.
It all makes sense with Alexis now. He is 108 years old.

Brighton have signed a right back from Ajax. Under a million quid seems like a pretty good deal for a prime age Dutch international, but there's a bit of déjŕ vu about all of the Eredivisie bods on twitter announcement shouting LOL he's shit what are you doing.
Ł41m for Ake to City.
City apparently still after Koulibaly despite signing Ake.
The Ake fee is ridiculous btw.
Buying an entirely new backline every other year. The genius of PEP.
It seems like a very smart way of running a football club to me. Same type of transfer that also brought in the likes of Lamptey (I presume new guy will be his deputy), Mooy and Burn for peanuts, and probably the same calibre of player that the likes of Everton enjoy spunking twenty million on.
I can't see how acquiring players that the market is undervaluing is anything but an attempt to move up the league. It's exactly what Liverpool did. Brighton's net spend has been pretty big since they they got promoted, it's just that most of the expensive buys have been fucking shite.
That's harsh actually, just a couple of big Eredivisie flops in there. They've basically built a completely new, young premier league squad for 200 million over three years. Dev squad is smashing it too. Not bad imo.

United links to Raul Jimenez are picking up again. Some of the ITKs said a while back we were in for him but it all went quiet on that front about a month ago. Rumours then were for a swap deal, possibly involving Dalot, which is what's being talked about in the media now.
Solskjaer thinks Dalot is absolute dogshit apparently.
On the CB front, we were said to be interested in Ake but not enough to match City's bid. Upamecano (on a loan with obligation to buy), Gabriel Magalhaes and Pau Torres are the others on our list.
Villa moved the goalposts on Grealish once the relaxation of FFP was announced. They really do want over Ł80m now.
In for our own summer of fuck you, pay me.
Hello Mr Wolves, can we interest you in swapping your top, top striker with this absolutely dogshit, sorry, I mean top top full back once billed as, what was it, one of the best in the world by Jose Mourinho?
He'd be a quality signing for United mind, although you could only imagine the fee would be insane. Didn't they pay like Ł40m for him themselves? It'd have to be Ł80m+.
That Ake fee is a bit mad, although not surprising. He's a decent player and handy in that he can fill a few holes in various positions. Ł60m+ already apparently burned on players who improve the squad but not really the first XI though? One wonders where the money comes from. Why don't they just not let the next Jadon Sancho slip through their fingers rather than signing Ferran Torres? They must have managed to filch some decent talent into their academy or do Chelsea just own that racket?
Barcelona are the bigger mugs going for him.
My ITK mate in the Portuguese press also backs up the Jimenez story. http://sportwitness.co.uk/wolves-sig...hester-united/
It’s Ake just one of them homegrown things like the lad from Villa a few years ago?
That and he's left-footed.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan_Baro%C5%A1
On 1 November 2007, Baroš was arrested in France while driving at 271 km/h (168 mph) in his black Ferrari F430, on a freeway limited to 130 km/h (81 mph). Stopped by French police between Lyon and Geneva in the region of Ain, the local authorities said the radar reading of 271 km/h was the fastest speed ever recorded in the region, surpassing the previous mark of 248 km/h (154 mph) set by a motorcyclist in 2000.
Ake is 25 and a consistent, proven premiership talent. Anything less than Ł60m is because they went down. Top signing.
it's one of those that sounds mental until you remind yourself that Ł40m these days is what they find down the back of the sofa.
I could see Jimenez leaving as they have yet to receive a big transfer income from a player, given their strong position.
I think he will go to Juventus with Ronaldo coming the other way in a swap deal. Portugal links and all that.
Isn't Laporte left-footed though?
I like Ake as a player, but I'm not sure he's really all that much better than John Stones. I mean, he's basically just participated in/been central to one of the worst defences over a sustained period of time in the history of the Premier League. Is he good for Holland or does De Ligt play?
