Mourinho going for Ndombele in the interview there in a very strange way. Wouldn't name him but said it was a player new to the country who had to come off.

I have no idea what the mask is about but that's the best lol I've had in ages.
Fuck me that’s macabre.
Is Bramall Lane's playing area massive (I've a feeling it might be) or are Sheffield United being snidey with a narrow pitch (and the attendant massive, NFL-esque sideline areas)?
I've been thinking the best Liverpool-related Coronavirus fun would be if they tied it up sharpish, all the people came out in celebration and all caught it. With the city then going into lockdown for years because they can't stop shaking hands.
That was a lovely goal.
Billy Gilmour might be the greatest player ever
Billy Gilmour is something. Jorginho on notice for MLS now.
This is fun and all, but several Everton players must be nearing gross misconduct for this performance.
More goals please. 6 or 7 should do.
They usually turn up against you like they do with us. I guess two games in a row is too much for Everton.
Otamendi being a professional defender continues to confuse me.
Ederson
Smart by Bruno.
Noice.
EDIT: That's atrocious from Ederson
If only there was a clear and obvious error that led to the goal :/
Also, Ederson fail.
I was still spewing about him not squaring the previous chance.
I would be spewing about useless Pep and his useless team, but actually I reckon both us and United are going to cruise past Leicester.
I'm not having this Luke Shaw revival that all the pundits are seeing. He looks less bollocks due to the team improving, but he is still the worst part of any defence he starts in and offers nothing going forward.
That's not a penalty on Fred but it's also obviously not a dive.
Why on earth isn't VAR reviewing that? Clear pen.
City definitely missing their incisiveness they had last season.
I also don't understand how they've spent £300m+ on a defence and have all of them be shit.
Pep's got an obsession with ball-playing defenders. He needs a pair of beanpoles and hoof merchants.
Why is Neville acting like this is close?
He was easily offside.
Wut? They are checking a goal scored after the whistle already went?
That was a lot closer than it looked real time. Dangerous just letting him put it in the net.
This City defence is some entertainment.
This football is disrupting the flow of the Mike Dean performance.
City's refusal to put a corner into the box must be infuriating for their fans.
That’s the second time a ball should have been squared for Bruno.
lol at that.
What a perfect ending.
Pack Ederson his bags. He's finished.
Is this not bad really because these odd spurious big results keep Solskjaer in a job?
Maybe? But Guardiola looking miffed is one of the best things in football so who cares.
Bernardo Silva seems to have suggested after the game that there are more important things than just having all the possession.
That's a paddlin'.
Ok so inter vs Juve is on, without any attendance. No handshakes but its a contact sport.
That win is a shiter for us. A draw would have put us within 3 points of that entire group with a game in-hand (against City I know but all fans know that any game in hand counts as 3 free points)
Tell you wot, Ighalo was a great short term pickup. Actually does offer something different in attack, and (shock! gasp! horror!) can hold up a ball. ItÂ’s also a proof point that we need that kind of player in attack, so hopefully he serves as a model for recruitment.
Lol at Ederson, the bottler.
I think he will end up being a bit of an early career Claudio Ranieri figure. I don't think he'll win the league, but he'll get rid of all the tossers and bring the right people in for somebody a bit nastier to eventually come in and get them over the line.
Speaking of right directions, the Bruce vs Rafa comparison time has tightened up. Rafa took a week longer to hit to hit 35 points and didn't surpass that tally until mid-April. We finished last year strongly.
Pretty impressive display from us (more first half). Sterling has hit a wall and looks like he's not really enjoying it.
Echo the Ighalo love, held it up so well in that ten minute spell. While limited, knows how to be a forward.
If you all thought Sanchez was useless at United, you should see him at Inter. :wedge:
