That Milner/Pedro footrace was one for the ages. Shame Milner went industrial so early, he could have probably got him with a second wind.

Hopefully Minamino is in the long bedding in process seen with some other players, as he's been fairly anonymous in all performances thus far. Adrian should probably save both those goals, but he's made so many saves in the cup this year he's probably earned a few. Writing was on the wall when that triple chance wouldn't go in in the first half.

The actual thing that's killing Liverpool these past few weeks is that their set pieces have absolutely gone to shit. Just win the next two and all is right with the world again.

That 6 game run of relegation candidates that I was relying on to pump our way up the table?

The southampton game has been moved and they've put a Man City game in there

I was checking the score of Tottenham Norwich to see did Parrott or Idah get on, how did the former use 4 subs?

Extra time gives you an extra sub now. Also, I'm fine with that draw. I'd rather tackle City than bin it against Sheff Utd.

Some first rate trolling from Krul there on those pens. Not even trying to be on his line.

Only discovered with 5 mins to go in extra time that it was on telly. That last penalty was abysmal

A good blue cheese is the pinnacle. A proper sharp, pongy one, ripping through the pallet like it was Harry Kane's hamstring. I can see why Daniel Levy wanted some of that action for his premium customers. They've earned it.

Gomez probably needs to be stronger on that Wilson goal, but it is a fairly clear shove in the back. I'm pretty sure that's not really within the rules, he's not 'easing him off the ball'. If he does the same to get the space to tap the ball in then VAR's all over it so I'm not sure why it's different in the build-up.

A goal for Firmino would be nice.

I'm gonna say it now... Gomez isnt the player some think /we hoped. He's a decent enough centreback but I don't think he will be our CB for the next however many years.

Also, have England ever had a better group of relatively untested goalkeepers .. Pope, Henderson and Ramsdale all look quality (and better than Pickford).

We could be left in a half decent position today if results go our way (as good a position as you can be in 19th). One win potentially required with two games in hand.

If it goes the same way as last weekend we're deep in the shit.
