I'll eat it quite happily, but people seem to be buying it for ammuniton.

They are, but at the same time, I looked at our bog roll earlier and we only have 3 rolls left. I'm now having visions of wiping my arse Taz style and fighting the urge to head down to the 24 hour Tesco where I will no doubt have to wrestle some old bint for 4 pack of lilac Andrex.
I bought 18 rolls a few days before everyone went mad and was thinking to myself today that I'd be judging myself a right arsehole if I saw that happening now.
That's what I was doing. 3 blocks of cheddar, some dolcelatte and 24 cans of Heineken are in the fridge, and along with the ten kilos of rice I bought in stages a month ago for this exact reason (my first correct prediction for years), I may yet be the last man left alive when this is over.
I'm massively tempted to phone 111 and get that sweet, sweet two-week self-isolation order. I have a cough and I've not long returned from abroad, so it'd be negligent for them to NOT give me what I want.
I've got shelves of books that need reading, and about twenty Dean Koontz novels for when the toilet roll runs out.
Yeah I’m just back too and my throats in bits and all bunged up. Obviously a cold but worth a try for two weeks paid leave. Cheltenham next week, too.
I am gagging for a work-from-home order. I could do most of it from here, just couldn't answer the phone (fuck the old cunts who can't use email anyway) and couldn't go out and bollock the useless warehouse people.
Our company owner is 80 and coming off a quadruple bypass, so he must be at-risk of dying from virus, which I think is also our best chance of being allowed to work from home.
You can get some pretty decent frozen pizzas these days so lol at isolating yourself with a load of pasta and shit.
If you run out of toilet paper just use the walk-in bidet that every house has.
I'm also happy to confirm that Waitrose in St Clements was fully stocked in everything.
Are Italians proper mucky bastards who don't wash their hands?
Most people (worldwide) are as scum as they can get away with.
The Bahrain F1 Grand Prix will effectively be behind closed doors. That's going to make for some crazy viewing.
Will it make any difference whatsoever?
No fucker goes to that anyway.
97,000 attendance last year.
Hamilton's post win interview will still say *country he's in* has the best fans in the world.
He can thank them all individually this time (no handshakes).
It'll probably take a while for continental Europe to get a grip. Even longer with the summer coming up.
I've been sweating/shivering on and off for the last 12 hours or so and I have a cough, I could be on the way out lads.
I leave all my rep to Webly.
Was some hushed mentions of “they might close schools” on Friday after we sent a load of kids some with a stomach bug that has nothing to do with this. Still, fingers crossed.
RIP Italian football. Parma vs Spal was going to start at 1230, but they have now pulled the plug
All the students are gone for Spring Break this week. I hope at least one of them catches it so they close the university.
EDIT: The students that were abroad in Italy were brought back a week ago and told to stay away of campus for 21 days. Rumours are doing the rounds that one was seen playing beer pong in a frat house last week.
My trip to Germany is cancelled and one of the other lads in work was supposed to be heading to Italy which is also cancelled.
They cancelled it, last minute. As it was already behind closed doors the players came out anyway. They then got sent back into the dressing rooms and then about an hour later decided they should play it anyway.
Those organised Italians strike again.
I can see why they're having such great success stopping it.
Skimmed through the US death toll. That retirement complex in WA is responsible for all but two of the US deaths. That's gonna be some lawsuit.
Three and a half grand for two weeks work lads. I suspect they would turn me down for only having just beaten it, but otherwise that sounds alright.
Why do they need volunteers? Have they not seen the new case figures?
I’d be well up for that if it was up North (and my wife agreed to sign my permission slip).
I'm a twit
That death toll number in a day in Italy.
I'm not sure we know all the fachts here lads.
I’m putting it down to a manufactured pension culling.
It was only a few days ago I misread the total death toll in Italy of 90, as the number who had died in one day. They've absolutely smashed that now.
And, from the headline BBC article:
We're not at 2% anymore...The number of infections worldwide is more than 107,000, with about 3,600 deaths
Still, thank God it's no worse than normal flu.
Number of deaths (although I notice in Britain you die with this not of it) is a more concrete number than number of infections though, it's still piss, feckless Italians and their nonnas notwithstanding.
As regards seasonal flu, all the aren't all the vulnerable folk immunised against that (to the extent they can be)? So, again, not having this.
