Update from the trains into London this morning: Still more than 95% of people are continuing to wear masks. In fact, I'd go as far to say it looks like nothing has changed since last week (in terms of the rules).
Masks are an irrelevance to me for the most part. It's the rest of the rules going that is going to make all the difference. The ability to be spontaneous again (assuming companies don't just keep the same rules in place regardless. Which alot will, I fear.)
The tfl has kept the mask mandate so I imagine other transport companies have as well.

I'l be in a 1,000 capacity venue on Saturday of no doubt largely unvaccinated heads. Be a good test of where my antibodies/T-cells/manhood is at.
I have to say, this does all feel a bit mad. I'm all for freedom being restored but Covid is still a nasty illness, even if you're double-vaxxed and most people aren't.
They've taken down the screens at my wife's work today which seems unnecessary. They caused zero inconvenience and offer some protection however modest that may be.
I don't know. Feels like alot of this could have waited until cases weren't at an all time high and a large portion of society largely unprotected.

I haven't even had a cold since November 2019. I think living on my own reduces my chances of getting the vid by exponential amounts.
I think that's helped me hugely too. Haven't been ill at all since 2019.
