If there was still a Royal Yacht he could have sailed them up the east coast on that. Oh well.

It’s so absolutely pathetic how the party of individual responsibility are completely incapable of ever taking responsibility for anything.
In other Deadly Dom news, all this screen time has alerted me to the fact that he is the most unfortunate bald man in the world. He needs a head of hair. Someone buy him a wig and a Regain subcription.
He probably has a full head of hair, but wears a bald skull wig to wind people up.
They even gnash their teeth furiously about him having his belt undone.
Asked whether it looked good, he said: "Who cares about good looks? It's a question of doing the right thing. It's not about what you guys think."
The clip is an all time great: https://twitter.com/BBCDanielS/statu...66848712577025
Wise words.
If it's the right thing to do then why isn't it in the official guidelines?
It is.
If it's a question of childcare then he's sorted of played the essential travel card erm ... as intended.
Spikey would love to travel hundreds of miles to get rid of his for even a few minutes but you don't see him loading up the car.
All these MPs rushing to his defence
What a horrible bunch of bastards.
Every city in Spain is currently jammed up with traffic honking horns and waving flags through the city centre in a largely right wing protest against their lockdown, for which they blame socialist PM Pedro Sanchez, who, they say, has handled the crisis 'the worst in the entire world'.
Sounds familiar.
Lewis Kuenssberg has to to stick by his lovers.
It's all in there.
Try as I might I can't imagine people ignoring what the guidance actually says to attack somebody they don't like.
If Raheem Sterling did it then some of the same people who are currently ANGRY and OUTRAGED on twitter would be drafting up their Observer columns asking why we are picking on a black working class boy made good, while the people defending Cummings would be ANGRY and OUTRAGED in their place.
Everything now is the culture war.
So if you’re a parent and caught Covid19 you were supposed to travel to anywhere else in the country to a relative and pop the kids off.
Don’t remember reading that.
I have no idea who Cummings is and I feel all the better for it.
All I can say is if you think this government was useless with Cummings in it, just wait until they try and do anything without him.
Not that he'll resign. Boris will probably have to sack him. Or they will just style it out and see how long until the twitter typhoon burns itself out.
Piers Morgan to the rescue
They’re pretty much making up the legislation as they go to save him. This is hilarious
From the limited amount I've read, because of the limited amount I care, he has to go. But the whole thing's been a complete shambles anyway, so this is just another step in that shambles, whatever they choose to do.
Nice distraction from what should be discussions about a coherent plan to get out of this mess though.
If he was Labour, they'd be after his blood.
The entire episode is a disastrous failure in everything - from big name types thinking they are above the law (as I'm sure not only him and Dr Ferguson, but many many others do), to journalism existing solely as a sort of Catherine Wheel of screaming obsession with famous names/cartoon villains and having no time for substantial issues.
Can imagine the news reporting outlets will be debating whether the “government response confirms guidelines open to interpretation” is an ethical message to publish.
People are looking for an excuse to fuck off the lockdown (more than they already are). This is it.
The one aspect of this that is truly bizarre has been the willingness of the entire Cabinet to put out nonsensical tweets defending him on spurious grounds. Any sane organisation would have said 'yes, it was wrong but oh well, nothing to see here'. Getting names like the Chancellor to come out forming a human shield around him suggests DC is either the key to the whole government to a greater extent than we realise, or he has photos of them all at a Nazi-themed gay orgy.
The attorney general seems to think it's ok as well so not sure why us plebs ever bothered.
They should really be relaxing things further now so they might as well use this as an excuse. I will continue to follow the law as I always do, but it would be nice to be able to have dinner with my mid 60s, healthy mum and dad soon.
Oh, I could easily pop over there now if I really wanted to, but I'd rather do so with a clear conscience. R is clearly tanked outside care homes now so other than administrative incompetence, I don't know what's stopping us from moving forward.
They seem to think July is a realistic target for whatever the new normal ends up being. Also, a fun thing about Sweden: They only do 10,000 tests a day. Usually nets them around 500-700 infections.
Probably wise, given your output on here the left-wing press probably have three or four people tailing you at all times.
Lololololol
He's manipulating the public in to herd immunity.
Yet he was apparently the one who ordered the lockdown.
Laura has been quiet today
Are they trolling?
