Yeah, but I meant in terms of having covid. Isn't it like 28 days after or something.
Yeah, but I meant in terms of having covid. Isn't it like 28 days after or something.
Supposedly, but I had mine within 28 days of testing positive. They weren't fussed.
You've to wait 6 months here. Strange there's such a big difference, though before the first pair and after the first pair probably change things.
Talking of Christmas shopping...
I'd do the latter, but I don't know anyone vulnerable to this now (the NHS did enough on its own to help kill the last one in the family that was), but there is not a cat in hell's chance the former is happening. The government has updated its Covid testing guidance, recommending that people in England take a rapid lateral flow test before going to high-risk places
This includes spending time in crowded areas such as busy shopping streets, or when visiting vulnerable people
You live for this sort of bollocks.
You what?
Wouldn't be that hard for everyone to slip the NHS a few extra quid everyday, if that's the criteria for doing things now. Probably more worthwhile as well.
Indeed. This, "it's not that much of an inconvenience" is seriously odd to me. Prior to this I thought most in the West agreed that totalitarianism was bad, but (what should be) post it all, it appears loads of people are still gagging to be told what to do by the state.
Oh how we lolled off vaccine passports on page 32. Page 750 has everyone out in the streets hunting toddlers who managed to escape the jab.
Owen Hargreaves.
Totalitarianism
Aye, it's a bit strong, but the point is surely that this is about as good as it is going to get with covid. High vaccination rate, boosters rolling out, highly effective treatment available, so we have to ask is this how we want things in perpetuity?
It's not going to go away.
Not while everyone is so determined to drone-on about it constantly, no. I beg you lads. Just crack on and ignore it.
We're going back to encouraged WFH tomorrow and the 3G system here which means you need to be fully vaccinated, recovered or tested that day to be in the office.
Would be an awful shame if we had to return to WFH for the remaining 30 or so years of my working life.
When I said "crack on and ignore it", I obviously only mean up to a point. WFH must remain to keep us all safe.
FH you mean.
Posting From Home.
I think we can agree to an arrangement whereby you lot can work from home, but I get paid more than you to do the same job because of my commuting costs.
What about my electricity/internet bill?
On the contrary, what with all the Electric and Internet you lot get for free.
Edit: Pepe
Don't get any fancy free milk powder either.
Back in the office and mask uptake appears to have skyrocketed. Heads. Have. Gone.
Should never have dropped off really seeing as it’s a light bit of cloth. It’s not as if someone is being asked to wear a suit of armour. A good few filthy cunts should be wearing them regardless of covid.
It's not that hard, is it?
We had to show our covid status to get into the office today and mask wearing away from the desk is compulsory.
We have one mask left in the company, and she wears one to hide the false tooth she doesn't like wearing. Been that way for months.
It's all fine, life's basically back to how it was in 2019.
NHS tracing has tagged me (I assume someone on the plane back from Poland tested positive). Filled out the form and it says I don't have to isolate but I should get a PCR test.
I'm making plans to enter 'Metropolitan France' (someone has to) and it seems that we are the only European country still on Manu's amber list.
lol at the French.
I will be in France in December.
TTH meet incoming?
Lol at the fucking vaccine passports. Apparently the booster will be mandatory starting in January. France.
The Mrs was bending my ear about taking the kids to Disneyland (World? Whatever.) next year the other day. Which I was considering, but they can fuck right off if there's a load of isolating bollocks involved.
Some top tier crowing in The Telegraph this week. They really can't help themselves. Covid comment of the week has to go to the German Health Minister though with his The whole population will soon be either “vaccinated, recovered, or dead” effort.
France > most countries.
They hate rules and love protests so I'm surprised you think that. Or is being Anti-Britain an over-riding shortcut to the top?
Variant of concern klaxon…
Extend the Greek alphabet.
Botswana you say.
