I'm not sure if Magic is doing a banter there or not.

Are any of you guys prepared for this to drag on for six months?
Same here. My rainy day fund is more for a rainy season.
We need to get a Werewolf game going.
It's not really possible for me to work from home. However, if I had to just stay in the house for months on end, I'd be fairly comfortable doing so. Setting trivia for TTH would while away a few days at least.
It may be time for the ULTIMATE TTH FM 2020 NETWORK GAME.
Or at least a 16 team knockout draft tournament... In fact. I may set that up.
Glastonbury cancelled. I can't remember the last time I felt bothered by it.
I'd probably be ok for quite a while, my wife can work from home easily enough and our mortgage is tiny.
Sadly the vast majority of the country would be stuffed after they miss one months pay. So many people either live month to month, have huge debts, huge mortgage etc. 6 months would be life changing for everyone in the UK.
I could happily sit off work indefinitely, just like the old days; but literally being confined to the house would have me going mental. Good job they're phasing all this stuff in slowly.
Aye, and there won't be enough demand in other sectors to for them to pivot into something else.
It's actually *quite* funny to see all these boys wae a TRADE on Twitter saying they're a time-served this and a highly experienced that can anyone help only to see thousands of replies like 'Amazon are hiring drivers'.
Is it too early to drink wine?
Never too early.
Companies I'll never deal with again:
Virgin Media
Premier Inn
Easyjet
Hotels.com
Absolute fucking cunts.
If they have you can add the Olympic Committee to that list of shits. Absolute lunacy to proceed with the Olympics, in any form whatsoever.
I've just been turned away from the Brighton Toy and Model Museum. The next Chinaman I see is getting lamped.
It's payday on Friday as well. I should be sorted well into 2021 if my bank doesn't Northern Rock itself again.
A UBI will have to come in if it goes on for long and there is actually a lot of virus about.
Yeah, I took the BA refund because it was offered but I'd already written that money off. This is act of God territory.
"It's a tattoo tent, your Honour." EDIT: Oh, almost.
We signed up to a daycare a few months ago ready for when my wife goes back to work. We told them we'd let them know how many days per week we'd need, and when we'd like to start - but provisionally said it'd be near the end of April. There's also the fact that my wife might not even end up actually working from her proposed start date, as I reckon schools will be closed by the end of April.
Today we've received an invoice through for 5 days of childcare per week starting from April 1. Obviously if our son was already in daycare, we'd be obligated to keep paying for the duration of the 4 week notice period - but he's not.
Not sure if they're just trying it on or whether it's just a miscommunication.
Also my daughter is in quarantine now.
Scottish schools shut until August according to my mole.
Hopefully causes chaos at my work

My parents are stepping up the move to get into a care home. I know they want to isolate the 70+ folks but a care home is the only way they're likely to get regularly tested. Also, the care company they've just left has folded.
Getting out is really, really fucking important to the elderly.
There is all the talk about having an 'elderly hour' in the shops to allow them to get supplies before it sells out, but in actual fact, it's the old fuckers that are the ones out in the shops and hoarding all the items. Every day I pop in to get some lunch and it's full of old farts, blocking aisles, stocking up. Woe betide they let anyone do their shopping for them.
My dad was talking about stocking up before. Everyone want to hunker down and put the sandbags up, regardless of age.
The elderly that I've spoken to are intent on carrying on as usual, and donning it into submission with their stubborness. Maybe they believe that incontinence is the antidote.
"It's just a cold. The flu kills more than this does, son."
I did speak to one guy yesterday, though, who is adamant that it's all a ploy to tank the economy and inject us all with mercury when they start vaccinating.
Just went to the shop to get a few bits and there was a woman in front of me in the queue coughing and spluttering everywhere, with a half-hearted limp fisted hand to the mouth. She then went straight from the shop to the cafe next door, coughing the entire way, where she apparently works.
The same cafe has been plastering Facebook with "We're still open and taking extra precautions, please come in" messages.
Still 'business as usual' here, we're not sending anyone home or changing the way we do anything. We'll presumably lose some more staff when the schools close at which point we'll probably end up coming in anyway and pointlessly sitting in an empty office.
Yesterday Orlando banned restaurants and bars from being open passed 5pm or some kinda weirdo shit
Well since it's St. Patty's day you know they were out moaning.
One said in our group chat oh, just means you have to go out of Orlando to go to the bar.
I said Or, conversely, stay the fuck home? *heart face emoji*.
Then someone was bemoaning they didn't get to see some fucking Disney parade "one last time".
Disney is a cult and it's making me realize I hate everyone I know.
I just realised @John Arne 's table has playoff and relegation spots.
