Only 36% have had a single dose. Mind boggling how poor that is for a country seemingly taking this so seriously.

They needed it to run rife to put the fear among 'em.
28 days in quarantine is so fucking stupid. If we had purpose build federal quarantine centres in each State those poor cunts would only need 14 days.
We have got the Moderna in especially for the red pillednl boomers. Hearing that it is a rough one for side effects is great news especially because those maniacs will drink through the period where they are supposed to be off the frog after taking the jab.

We still don't have enough supply after Scummo tried to gas light pfyzer into giving him a better deal last year.
Ive stopped caring now I have had my second Pfyzer. I just get to hang shit on friends and family who didn't sign up at the start of june because they didn't want to rush in for various reasons.

Australian regulators going slow on vaccine approvals as if Britain, America and the European Union might have missed something was a good start, and then the weird campaign against the Oxford one, the only one Australia can manufacture for itself, all felt alright a couple of months ago before the vindaflu got in.
My sister's in Melbourne and according to her, most of the people she works with haven't bothered getting vaccinated, because they just don't see it as particularly important.
My brother is the same the nut case.
The audacity.
26 hours after the jab it was like someone flicked a switch and I was back to normal other than a sore arm
NSW hit another record high of 390 cases in the last 24 hours. A women in her 40's died in her home.
https://www.betootaadvocate.com/advo...-ready-to-die/. Queensland Health has revised the definition of essential work for the locked-down border regions.
Non-essential workers now include:
❌teachers
❌anyone who can perform their work remotely
❌childcare workers
❌hospitality workers
❌sales representatives
❌commercial construction workers on non-critical projects
For example, a teacher or hospitality worker from Lismore is not permitted to cross into Coolangatta for work.
But essential workers now include:
✔️a medical practitioner or other prescribed health practitioner
✔️an emergency health services or emergency services worker
✔️national defence, state security or police worker
✔️a freight or logistics operator
✔️an emergency infrastructure worker
✔️air crew or maritime crew
✔️an emergency volunteer
✔️a disaster management worker
✔️a critical infrastructure worker
✔️a tradesperson or construction worker for essential or emergency construction or repairs only
This applies to Ballina Shire, Brewarrina Shire, Bourke Shire, Byron Shire, City of Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Walgett Shire.
The Tweed is not included.
Queenslanders or border residents who have been in a locked-down zone must quarantine at home and follow NSW lockdown rules.
We are seeking more information from Queensland Health and will update this post when we can.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-08-...r-wa/100374638NSW travellers entering WA must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination under tighter border rules
I know heads have gone generally, including very much over here, but Australian heads have properly gone for a burton.
Australia's handling of this is a complete disgrace.
With that few cases, how the fuck are people dying in their homes?
It's actually really funny to watch after their smugness last year. Soon to be a proper isolated third world country, and rightly so.
At least the Kiwis are shutting up to allow the population to be jabbed. Although zero covid is a complete folly.
Apologies if this has been posted already, but...
https://www.theguardian.com/society/...e-restrictions
80% target to ease restrictions? They have run mad.
Sadly, the Aussies have found a problem that closing the borders can't fix and it's kind of their goto move. Right upto closing the borders on individual houses and leaving the people to die within, apparently.
How are they dealing with the dead bodies? Are they to stay inside forevermore? Or are they burning the houses down? They should burn the houses down really. The mass forest fires that triggered would be a fitting end to all this.

My personal experience over the last 18 months has been good my quality of life has barely been effected by Covid.
I think the Federal Government's response has been disgraceful especially when it comes to leaving Aussies stuck overseas while allowing celebrities to come and go willy Nilly.
I think it is disgraceful to ban returning Aussies who work and live overseas from leaving the country without a tick of approval from the Federal government.
I hate that Scummo has got away with playing politics with the States and we are now in a situation where our State borders are physical boundaries preventing movement between States.
We had such a massive Head start last year and it was all for nothing.
Queensland has been brilliant to live in I reckon my total lockdown days this year would be 25 days give or take. A combination of dumb luck and compliance with the 3 day lockdowns has worked wonders. Australia is truly enormous so people refusing to do the right thing in Sydney and Melbourne has almost zero effect on my quality of life.

So the situation in the resort in Greece is that for the breakfast and dinners, everyone has to wear masks while moving about and these plastic gloves not to touch the food. It's like some weird surgery situation.
Sounds great. Are you there now?
I should hope everybody is reusing their gloves.
I hope there's only 1 pair and you have to pass them to the next in line.
Is the resort on fire yet?
"Lovely resort and pleasant service. Burning to death did make it overall however a negative trip. Great for families"
The tyre fire formally known as NSW hit a new PB of 466 cases.
Edit: My missus just told me that her relatives in Liverpool have reported that the Army are patrolling streets 24 hours a day. I can't even imagine how fucked that must feel to see the fucking ADF outside.

After 7 weeks of shuffling deck chairs Gladys has put the entire State of NSW into lockdown.
As someone who lives in Liverpool I can report this isn’t the case, at least not in the area I live in. The City Centre is also pretty much back to normal, I’m off there with @Baz and some of our friends for an afternoon of drinking later today.
Liverpool NSW, Mike.
Get a picture with some army lads plz.
If the ADF were patrolling the streets of Merseyside we would finally have a casus belli for the long awaited reconquest of Australia. Bombing raids from Diego Garcia, British-backed coup in Canberra, Tony Abbott installed as puppet PM. I'm on board with this conflict.
I reckon China might swoop in for the save.
To give more context there is currently 20 000 people up the road at the Gabba.
