Only Edinburgh has given a proper fuck about restrictions from what I’ve see . Refusing folk coming in if they don’t have a mask, each individual gives details and does a temperature check

Having just seen Miles Jacobson tweet that he's now going to donate to Liverpool food banks because they 'need it more' than the southern ones he has already been donating to, I think society has now officially bottomed out and we can begin the long climb back to respectability from here.

So why can’t fans be in Wembley? It’s a 90,000 seater stadium, far easier to spread out than that monstrosity above.

I would imagine getting to Wembley plays a big part in that decision as well.

Northerners might turn up. They obviously wouldn't at the Palladium.

Aye, as opposed to those famously congestion free routes into central London.

I'm not suggesting central London would be better. Considering the tube is already back to rammed status at rush hour, I can't imagine adding 6-10k extra people travelling on the same route will make a situation better.

Does he? I heard talk of a 'virus' and then a load of people assuming HIV because of how long he had been gone.

It was on Twitter though, so probably bollocks.

Indeed. When I was at Uni I had a girlfriend that bought into all that Chinese herbal tea bollocks and used to go into one of their shops to buy a bag of shite for Ł20 a month.

Anyway, one day there was a family in there with their 8 year old son who had been riddled with Crohns since birth. The only option left was to have bits of intestine and colon removed. Thankfully the Bat Oil salesman sent them home with cinnamon, dandelion and seaweed so I'm sure he's fine now.

It's 600 in Knowsley, and not far off in Liverpool. Think it was 582 as of last week. Not looked this week.

St. Helens was 352.7 last I checked, and steadily increasing.

Where can we keep track of these rates the best? It'd be good to have the source which will determine when I'm forced to spill my blood on the streets.

Remember when level 2 was within reach? :****)

We're still in nonce nation territory, but the Great British Public do at least blame each other for cases rising. Keir 'Sir Keir Starmer' Starmer was trying to get the government blaming the public over, but fucking obviously mate who is else is spreading it?

Those numbers taken together suggest that most people think we can either 1) stay inside forever; or 2) stay inside until it disappears. That would explain things, so maybe it needs to be hammered home just how much this is costing.

As long as garden soccer stays on the exempt list.

Will just need to set up a gazebo for outdoor drinking and a clock that never shows beyond 6pm.

I've been trying to work out what the local rates best map onto and at the moment my best correlation is Labour votes in the 1983 general election:

    Explain, Lewis.

The splits are where the (very subtle) tell is - it doesn't break by region, class or (relatively speaking) politics but the 'doesn't go far enough' shrieking is biased to women and the old - i.e. those for whom extreme caution is the natural state of affairs. Weirdly the missing 'doesn't go far enough' doesn't break towards the opposite opinion as you get younger, but towards 'don't know', which suggests to me that for the young it's a case of que sera sera, whereas for the old (and female) it's PANIC.

It's 'The North', but only as imagined by the sort of Labour Party wanks and London tosser affiliates who have been moaning about 'The North' all week. That is to say almost entirely concentrated on Liverpool and 'Greater Manchester', including Cheshire, and with the rural bits of Yorkshire swapped for the Derbyshire coalfields and a couple of other slums in the Midlands.

We have two universities and our cases have tripled from 15 per 100k to 45 per 100k since students came back.

It's only just started getting cold though here so
wonder if it will shoot up again now.
