Last month Bruhnaldo said that I just hadn't put enough work into the OP for the Octoberball thread. As a man of the people and YOUR TTH Super Tournament runner-up I take these matters to heart. If anything, I possibly created the October thread a little too well, but I feel I do have the optimum monthly football thread OP in my locker.

As such, and in the spirit of the brainless modern footballer, I have elected to put in 110% this time. Last month the OP was 88 words, this month: 97! (Had to round up.)
