The past 2 title tilts by us have been decided by the games between Liverpool and City. Winning 3 of those 4 would take us a long way to believing.

The United game next up should be interesting. I don't think we've really turned up against them in the post-Fergie era at Old Trafford (even the win in Moyes tenure was penalty-driven), but we should really be turning up and giving them a good shoeing. Hopefully Spurs are no nearer to sorting themselves out in 3 weeks either.

They are absolutely not. They've been very very lucky to win all of their games so far.
On another day they could easily have dropped points vs Sheffield United. Were far from convincing against Chelsea or Southampton. Took a last minute penalty to win yesterday (though it was a deserved win really).
City and Liverpool's points tallies could easily be reversed at this stage.

Liverpool have been struggling to keep the run going but they keep plugging away. You've got two teams at the top trying to live up to last season's expectations and they could easily wobble once or twice before the season's out.

Although I don’t disagree with the sentiment we have missed some very good chances in all those games to put the result beyond doubt before the other team have had their chances. Last week being a good example we missed three absolute sitters.
Anyway I didn’t think United could put someone in charge better than Moyes but they have managed it.

What a game. I saw the team sheet and thought the worst when Adama and Vinagre starting at wing-back. They are both wingers. Rui Patricio was an animal in goal. He made some strong saves. Adama was cool in front of goal. I was expecting him to spoon it wide on both occasions.

That 4-0 reversal to Man U on the opening day seems a long time ago now for us, and presumably for them. Strange things happen on the opening day.
