It was 2-1 when I last checked. WTF.
Why? What's gone wrong so quickly?
On an unrelated note, this is good: Bellerin meets Romesh Ranganathan https://www.theguardian.com/football...-be-alpha-male
You listen to his pressers and it’s clear the atmosphere is sour. He’s pissed and the players are bored. Son’s beautiful little grin can only do so much
More specifically, the board opted to not sell + reinvest this summer, which was much needed as we’ve had nearly the exact same squad for years and a lot of the players just want to go somewhere new. Instead, they shooed away bidders, made sure the old guard stayed, and signed a couple of replacements. We’ve been going downhill since the start of 2018, last year was flukey in all respects
If Einstein were still alive, he probably wouldn’t have a clue about the offside rule. We have a different kind of intelligence.
Hector, mate, it's not the photoeletric effect. I reckon he could get his head around it.
Although perhaps VAR is heading towards the idea of quantum offside, so maybe he is onto something. I hear Albert wasn't a fan.
Isn't that worth riding out though? You're not going to get a better manager than him anytime soon, so see off the guys who don't want to be there next summer, try get a couple of new faces to join the three that came this year, and suddenly the squad's fairly different.
Isn’t that pretty much what got Ranieri sacked by Leicester though? He’d done an amazing thing but he had ridden his horse as far as it could go and it was clear someone new had to take the reins. I mean i would love for Pochettino to build a dynasty but it doesn’t seem to me like he’s cut out for it. It also really doesn’t seem like he wants to be here anymore.
We’re a different club than we were 7 years ago, we could get in a decent manager who could at least figure out how to balance a midfield. Even if he isn’t a charismatic father figure like daddy Poch is.
They've spent decades trying to find a manager that can take them from being just another club in London to one of the big boys and if mugbull is to be believed, they're about to throw it all away because they refuse to adjust to being one of them. Daniel Levy has properly fucked this transition but anyone going #PochOut is an idiot.
It'd be like when Newcastle got rid of Bobby Robson levels of idiocy.
Need Real to stop fucking about so we can get Poch in when Ole eventually fucks off.
Would that really take you anywhere?
Went to see Fulham away at Reading last night. Easiest 3 points I think I've ever seen. If we wanted to keep our foot on the pedal, it could have been 7 or 8. It's just a matter of being consistent because when we play like that, we're the best team in the Championship.
Lol at Bernardo Silva potentially getting 6 games. Anything to help Liverpool eh
Football should close down for good if he gets a 6 game ban for that. Even High Priest Raheem said it was alright.
He really isn't. There's alot of problems at Spurs. Pochettino isn't one of them.
The want-away players need to jog on in January and the squad needs more new faces. It will mean a 'transition period' but Pochettino is the best placed to deal with that.
Pochettino is a trophyless nonce.
Silva being banned isn't going to make a jot of difference to City, you'd have to ban about 5 of their attackers before you started seeing a noticeable difference in their play.
Of course it's ridiculous, but this is the world as it is. Hysterical overreaction has to be applied with an even hand. I would imagine, however, any ban he might get will be suspended with a warning as to future conduct - ie in the future don't post images of golliwogs or the like as banter.
I don't think he has had that many actual approaches.
He's not going to get banned.
De Bruyne will be back after the international break (assuming he doesn't play this weekend). They'll be fine.
I think we're playing 3-4-3 here. Maybe Frank has been spying on Bielsa training sessions.
I do like this Tomori chap.
Left back making those near post runs
Lampard really needs to sort set pieces out defensively. Hasn’t been making a great argument for Zonal Marking.
Switching off far too early again.
Gomez and the midfield been shite most of the night.
Gomez has been a bit off, eh. Someone needs to teach Salah how to pass the fucking ball.
Lampard has a right semi for Mason Mount. He’s okay but the last of the young players that should be starting every week. Burning him out playing him every week in three different positions too
Hudson Odoi and Reece James are taking over world football.
A lot of hints of almost arrogance after it went to 3-0. Did quite well to retake control of the game and get the win.
I'd like to see Origi given more game time and break up that more advanced pairing of Gini and Henderson. It's very industrious yes, but you need a different option in there.
10 might be a stretch. He has been a lot better than Pulisic though who seems to have been completely bombed out which has football twitter up in arms.
I'd just like to say that I repeatedly told anyone who would listen Pulisic was not at this level whatsoever.
I think people want him to be better than he is owing to his nationality and the money that comes with it. Still, hopefully he's a slow burner like Ivanovic was.
He’ll be behind Sancho when he signs in the summer just like he was at Dortmund.
No shots on target.
A whole lot of empty seats at the emirates and a weak 11.
Are these tickets folk just aren’t turning up to despite buying, or have they just over priced it? Suppose there’s a balance between ripping off 40,000 vs. Filling it with a reduced ticket price.
Can't tell if this Martinelli kid is good, every goal he scores seems so easy that I'm not sure if he's a natural or just playing against shite.
What a couple of finishes from martinelli.
Sack pepe off and put this guy in for more of a chance. Clinical.
The Liege manager just pulled out his Tobacco Dip
Billed = bullet according to my autocorrect.
Nice finish from willock too.
What do arsenal fans think of reiss Nelson? He seems to get a lot of chances under emery without really giving a lot back.
