Pretty shit game with some signs of promise. Liverpool managed to drop to our level and were largely dreadful.
James and Rashford the rare bit of quality in the game.

Managed to play at an acceptable level for about 10 mins(maybe) and scored. Hopefully it gets into Klopp that having creative players in the middle opened the game up for us towards the end. That midfield is getting as bad as the Brexit midfield from 2017.
If I was Ole I'd want to know why the United players aren't that up for it in every home game. Great pressing and desire, if not let down by the quality.
There's nothing to press in most games, so they just end up crabbing it about and losing their minds. Not unlike Liverpool today.
Scott McTominay would be some player if he wasn't shite. So reminiscent of Fletcher.
He looks even more out his depth for Scotland trying to do things himself.
i thought he played a couple nice passes forward today
He's a big enough unit that he could probably be quite effective barrelling forward a bit more like he did a couple of times today.
We were beyond awful. I'll take a point after that as I feared the worst but boy it was bad all round.
Has there already been a goal ruled out by VAR for a similar foul on Origi this season? Something about that seemed quite familiar.
Would have been a dodgy call anyway, he miscontrols it and is looking to go down when he feels the contact. Very much in the 'seen them given' category, but not one that is an obviously massive error. More contact than there was on Mané against Leicester, but overall you'd take those two decisions that way round every day of the week.
The handball thing, on the other hand, is just an idiotic rule. I know where they were going with it, but I think it should probably be confined to actually scoring (ie putting the ball in) with your hand - a la Boly against City last season - rather than any slight touch in the build up. As was sort of pointed out on MotD Lindelhof was very close to it with his own hand and, had he touched it and deflected the ball onto Mané's hand then the first doesn't count as handball (not intentional) but the second does (strict liability). It's daft but I guess we're stuck with it for at least a season. Is it possible for a domestic FA to go against the IFAB rules?
Spurs game becomes quite big now. Could do without the kind of drab draw rut we ended up in last season.
With Rashford scoring yesterday. He now scores a goal every 0.26 games. The same as
Yaya Toure
Youri Djorkaeff
Gianfranco Zola
Michael Bridges
Carl Cort
Eidur Gudjohnsen
Clint Dempsey
Luka Milivojevic
Maxi Rodrķguez
Once he gets his scoring boots on and increase to 0.30 goals per game. He will join a host of dons and legends such as
Mario Balotelli
Roque Santa Cruz
Grant Holt
Danny Ings
Djorkaeff and Zola definitely going under the bus in that comparison.
I'm doing these Rashford comparisons full time now. Its interesting.
Good work if you can get it.
I agree with Roy Keane in regards to players high-fiving, hugging and ball gobbling each other in the tunnel.
before the game. Totally unacceptable.
He's probably just bitter because nobody wanted to hug him.
Even for Roy Keane that was a load of shite.
DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THEM. YOU'RE GOING TO WAR
You are not going to war, you're playing a game of association football.
Royk Eane.
Origi foul aside, can't have any complaints whatsoever about the other decisions. Perhaps only six mins stoppage time being the biggest bugbear but we shouldn't have let it get to that stage. We were that bad and I'd have thought we'd have the bit between our teeth given our position yet we were sleep walking to defeat at times.
You would think you drew at York the way you're all carrying on. Liverpool were crap because United got into them and defended well.
Why is Patrice Evra still getting punditry jobs?
edit: I just unmuted the stream and he was talking about eating some beans and pasta?
I don't want his hairline. Its thining at the front badly and you can see it on camer just bald it off.
They have been pushing 'kicking racism out of the game' since the loading screens of championship manager. It hasnt worked yet?
No Tierney is an absolute joke. I will be keeping count of how many crosses Kolasinac attempts that don't reach his man.
Bukayo Saka is a 5'10", 18 year old somehow winning headers and physical battles. It's wild.
Sheffield United really could do with replacing McGoldrick in January with someone half decent. Their team is a whole is pretty good though. Fun to watch for a team that don’t score much.
I'd love a referee to justify how obstruction actually works in football. I don't think I'll ever understand when it should/shouldn't be applied.
On that Calum Chambers foul, when was he no longer in posession of the ball?
Arsenals away form continues to be an HR Giger painting. Beautiful in it's grotesqueness.
How did Egan and Stevens play?
Is this Pepe for Arsenal a bit shit? Doesn't seem to have done anything of note in any match
He's a headless chicken.
My only assumption is he's kept to around to watch Xhaka and Pepe have a who can be more one footed contest in training.
There's something there but whatever we're doing isn't working with what he does.
Seven Liverpool players nominated for the Ball Do'r is pretty special. None will win it though.
Six minutes in and we've created more chances already than in the past 4 games combined
Can we buy Son please?
Marko Marin is on the field. I hadn't heard that name in a while
Juventus, Man City and Bayern losing. Lol.
And how are your team doing in this years competition?
This Red Star team is unbelievably bad
Sterling has been brilliant.
His second goal was lovely.
Hazard is nothing without me slavering on his dick.
:\
I've no idea why Son doesn't start ever game for Tottenham.

Even with Lampard playing youth, Azpilicueta still manages to swindle a game every week.
Hudson Odoi’s end product has been atrocious so far.
Milner at rightback and Lovren in the middle, what's up with Gomez?
Really hope this midfield can work, as it's the way forward, but it could easily go one of two ways.
