Hi, I'm meeting some internet friends I've been chatting with for over a decade is probably less weird than you'd imagine today.
As Smiffy said. I mentioned it to the wife as 'you know that forum I was obsessed with? A few of us are meeting in London for drinks' and she barely raised an eyebrow.
She'll probably end up changing the locks while I'm out.
I'd make up a story or something. That said, if I really think about it I'd probably find it far weirder than she wouldb anyway.
