Fucking Hell
Maybe we can just have a beer then. No one can complain about not having tickets in the right area either.
I'm a bystander here but why wouldn't you all sort your tickets out together, perhaps trying to get a group rate even, as opposed to just saying "Ok cool the 8 of us already got tickets so if anyone else wants to go just go and then we'll meet you afterward"
Well the game is now on Monday so that point is moot.
Why though? Hypothetically.
Is that Monday a public holiday?
It will be once they find out whose plans it has ruined.
So is it not happening now?
Eyeing up Leyton Orient instead.
Did you miss this @Kikó?
I don't understand the question. Ask me again?
Im going to London with a mate if mine and we were sorting out tickets for ourselves. I asked the GROUP if they fancied coming as well. Hence why I got the tickets in advance.
Pen has answered.
So he did. It's nice to be nice.
I think he's looking at West Ham now for those interested.
He should look at Reading. Only an hour's train journey from London and then a 30 minute bus ride from the town centre, and a truly unforgettable fan experience amongst some of Berkshire's most passionate football supporters. Best of all, there is a Costco right next to the stadium so if they sort a membership in advance they can bulk-buy several items you just can't get back in Finland.
Were looking at the West Ham game at the moment if there are people interested in that.
No, The Sheffield United game on the 26th of next month.
I'll be there, I have a season ticket.
You do know it will probably kick off at some point, to say West ham fans don't like them lot is an understatement.
It goes:
Millwall
Blunts
Tottenham
.
.
.
.
The rest.
Is this the first time you play them since the Tevez/Mascherano incident? We are hoping it would be good atmosphere wise because of that or was there history between the teams prior to that?
Nope, it's purely down to Tevez/Mascherano. I think it will be the first time we've played them since. Certainly in the league it will be.
What's that? I vaguely remember someone had an appeal about relegation involving them two but we're Sheffield United around the Premier league then? Or was it something that happened in a game between the two?
West Ham signed those 2 on a dodgey deal that broke Premier League rules. Tevez scored the goal that sealed West Hams survival/Uniteds demise, then the Premier League hit West Ham with a fine rather than a points deduction and Warnock went full Warnock.
You'd almost feel pity but, Warnock.
My memory of it was West Ham were absoutely bang to rights but nobody fancied giving them any sporting sanctions for it so they got away with a fine.
That's how I remember it. They didn't want a legal challenge with the new season only a few months away, so they just pretended nothing happened.
So my recollection is that we breached Third Party ownership rules in that we didn't report their ownership (Tevez in particular was 80% Third Party owned).
It was a situation without precedent and the FA applied a Ł5m fine. Sheffield United then sued us for Ł35m on the basis of lost earnings because they were relegated. Even with our win at Old Trafford on the last day they would have stayed up were it not for losing to Wigan.
In the end they couldn't stay up over the course of 38 games and sued us because they were bitter and Warnock has to find someone but himself to blame.
Sheffield United need to fuck off to League One where they belong.
Absolute cretin club vs Neil Warnock. I’m calling it a 0-0 draw and penalties to infinity.
Breaking the rules and then getting angry at someone for pointing it out is proper retard behaviour.
Yeah, West Ham can fuck off trying to claim any kind of high ground. Their 2 best players shouldn't have been on the pitch for any of their games. It was cheating and they should have had points docked. Any ill feeling towards Sheffield United is as retarded as only that mob can aspire to.
The rest of us a free to continue lolling at Warnock.
Didn't they barely play Javier Mascherano because he wasn't the shithouse scrapper they thought he was?
Yeah, played three games for us before being shuffled on to Liverpool.
So what's the deal with this and who is paying for my ticket?
"Following months of speculation, Mascherano signed a four-year permanent contract with Liverpool on 29 February 2008, ending his association with Media Sports Investments."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javier...est_Ham_United
Sounds like that's not true.
The deal is that you pay for yourself.
Ever so reliable Bam.
Yes I'm sure your memory is more reliable than wikipedia.
The best part of this whole charade is the idea that things are going to get a bit 'tasty' in or around the olympic stadium.
Is that before or after they start piping in the fan noise and turn the bubble machines on?
Or in one of the queues to get back to Westfield afterwards?
Piping in fan noise? That doesn't happen.
That doesn't happen, it would create an atmosphere.
