He's not too far off. All pop music is shit but earworm factor is big with them. That song definitely fits the bill.

Saying “all pop music is shit” is lazy and stupid and definitely something you would say. I actually think most pop music is alright but a certain subset of songs is totally unlistenable. Another example is anything concocted by Bruno Mars.

I started attempting a pop songs list but ended up listening to half of Prince's discography and now I'm running late.

I'd have SOS as the Abba entry but generally speaking I like your vibes.

Looks like me and Lewis's rap collaboration is off, so I'd be pleased if we can get our tth club night off the ground.

I once wrote a version of the Anfield Rap about TTH, with IJ doing the Bruce Grobbelaar bit ('You can't take the mick, don't call me a goth'), and nobody even responded to it.

I rate the lawyer (Jackie Chiles I think?) quite high.

Actually, the side characters are pretty much all better than the main characters.

    That was in my longlist.

I also considered not having Big Show but the 'Weeeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeeell' is possibly the best opening bit of any of them other than Austin.

They did have amazing side characters. Jackie Chiles was great. Anytime their version of George Steinbrenner made an appearance was always fantastic, too. I know you never actually saw him, but that just made it funnier. George's Dad (if you could class him as a side character) is probably my favourite though.

George himself will always reign supreme in the overall rankings though. One of my absolute favourite comedy characters ever.

Paul Bearer though. That backstage segment where he's telling Jerry Lawler about slotting the Undercarder's mother has genuinely never been topped.

I always thought the D'Lo Brown entrance theme was criminally underrated.
