Did anyone use Hugo Sanchez at all last year? His stats look bonkers for this stage of the game, but the slightly less bonkers looking Butragueno has a five star weak foot which might make up for the stat difference.
Taking a small gamble on there being an Allsvenskan mvp Sbc. Bought a couple of lindelöf and Granqvist cheap. Nothing big but perhaps theyll Rise IF needed.

I'm actually surprised there's no sbc or objective for Allsvenskan MVP. Last year it was an objective, the year before it was a sbc. (If you don't know already Allsvenskan is Swedish premier division)

Just did the 6 wins in Rivals with Tolisso and pulled UCL Lenglet from the pack.
Also got a CAM to CF card, a hawk chem and 1k coins.
And I was coming in here to say my second go had given me Pablo Sarabia and Gotze. The latter is quite good for a pack only account as I now have a vaguely competent UCL forward I can use.
Oh and I hit 200 goals with Pukki tonight. They've nerfed finishing but the man is still a god.
Took untradeable rivals rewards and packed Ter Stegen (who I already had tradeable) and Florenzi. The latter is a game changer and finally gives me a good right back and I can get Storyline Politano into the team.
Quite pleased with that.

I've bought about 100-125 Eredivisie and Liga NOS silvers for 150-250 coins. Hopefully I can either complete the League SBCs as and when they are released or sell them on for a big profit. Picked up a lot of Liga NOS gold common cards for 300 too.
I wrapped up the 12th Icon Swap token last night, finally winning a 3rd game with a La Liga first owner squad. Now it's time to work on Politano. Hoping for a nice RTTF objectives card on Friday too.

I decided to stick on the IFs but I have about 65 Moutonhos and 30 ish Pizzis. Both already up 1k. Would hope I can get close to doubling my money on them. A Vardy card would be tempting. I have never used him.

I'm not normally one to call bullshit on an online match, but I've just had one of the most fucking irritating matches of all time, whilst trying to grind for Politano.
Matched up against a really top side, with Scream Kroos, Scream Pique, some other special cards, and he storms out of the blocks, takes a 1-0 lead inside 5 minutes. I get back into it, create a few opportunities, but my opponent is lightning fast on the break. And it's on the counter he makes it 2-0, but in a manner that made me want to throw my controller through the screen.
3 minutes after that, Smalling gets a 2nd yellow for a really innocuous challenge, and I'm very close to packing it in and quitting. But, underneath all of this, I can feel this guy is frantic in defence and there will be chances. And so, in the 45th minute, I break through. Tolisso (brought on for the Storyline objectives) gets it in midfield and slides a lovely ball through for Dzeko, who slots it past Oblak. But wait, it's given offside and disallowed....
I'm fuming at half time, but somehow come out and dominate. A scrappy goal is bundled in by Dzeko with about 25 minutes to play to give us a chance. A series of corners end up with Tolisso smashing in an equaliser with just 10 minutes left. I'm still banging on the door, and in the last minute, Rabiot breaks through, slides a shot towards the corner, and somehow it screws wide. The replay seems to indicate a save from Oblak, despite him being 2-3 feet away from the ball!
From the corner, he clears to the halfway line where his POTM Pukki wins a header. Never mind, my second defender will sweep up. Nope, Pukki falls from the header and cleans out my defender and the ball as they tumble to the turf. Somehow it's not a foul. Luckily my defender gets up and is recovering possession, where, inexplicably, he goes to play a pass straight back to Pukki. I don't know if it was automatically decided by the AI or a long-delayed pass from when I initially thought I'd get the ball.
Pukki runs through and bangs it in. I lose 3-2.

POTM Vardy just been released. 83 rated squad with 1 Prem player is an absolute steal. I feel like EA have made a mistake there so I've done it already on the phone app in work.
