Drogba looks like a beast, but again. This game is all about agility, and balance. Drogba would probably, fill me with regret for 89 minutes until he slams one in the top corner.
I would avoid Drogba personally as his stats make him look a bit tanky. Plus he has H/H workrates iirc, which are awful for a striker.
Best TOTW so far, of course it comes after a WL where I only had time for 9 wins. Orsic looks fucking obscene for an 82 IF.

93rd minute rage quit
He was leading 2-0 and I switched to my ultra attacking 4-2-4 after 60 minutes and grabbed my first back in the 72nd. It was all me when I switched but I just kept missing easy chances, even had Pukki miss an open goal by hitting the ball at a weird angle.
The more and more I think about icon swaps the more and more I hate how they've done it.
I've built this team that I'd quite like to be playing with, but instead I'm faffing about building sides with Championship players so I can have a tedium off against the AI. It's gonna take, what, somewhere in the region of 50 games of me not using my first team to get this batch of 12 tokens.
EDIT: 50 games minimum, it'll probably be more like 80, likely over 100 for anyone who is either in the division they should be or not very good at Squad Battles.

It is shit. It should all be based on games played and completed. I can understand them wanting us to use different cards, but the moment they add the WIN factor into it. It becomes a headache.
The problem is no matter what the objective is, this FIFA community is so fucking awful and toxic, they will find a way to cheat the system and do it in the shortest possible way.
Games won (online) - drop down divisions and smash worse players in Division 6, 7, 8 to complete it.
Games played - Start a match and simply rage quit when far enough in. Also as a bonus, helps towards self relegation for any win objectives.
Games completed - Start a match and go 'afk', either nudging the stick every now and then, or rubber banding the analogue sticks for constant movement. Again, helps towards self relegation.
Goals scored with certain players - instant message at start of game regarding objective in the hope to get about 10-15 goals scored in one game. God forbid a timeless objective take any longer than 1 or 2 days.
I find the objective that require wins to be a little irritating, no doubt. But I do end up using some different cards and I can find some unsung heroes, some random non-rare who fires me to victory online. Now the offline win objectives - I agree, those are fucking tedious. It's hard enough trying to beat the cheating AI when using my normal squad.
I'm all for objectives for players in principle, I just wish they'd left icons as they were back in FIFA17 and just tweaked the SBC requirements so that icons weren't needed to complete them.
For me there was a far greater sense of achievement in working towards completing a stack of SBC's than doing this sack of shit.

I've done Prem, First Owner and Bundesliga online and have just rattled off three wins with a Championship team (Ronaldo off the bench natch) to go 3/5 on that one in Squad Battles. 9 tokens still to get though, it's gonna be a right slog.
I only got back onto the game last night and I need 4 tokens for Rio so I am focusing on the SB's first since I know I can get through those no bother 4/5 on champ and 4/6 on Liga NOS. Mane, POTM Vardy and Walker off the bench for those sides making it a bit easier.
I really need to decide if I can be bothered with Mbabu.

Smashed the Bundesliga online and today I started with the La Liga.
Drew the first match then realised I was in division 6 so spent ages relegating to 9. I then played a match where I just couldn't defend and I kept losing the ball, ended up losing 5-4 as I was just defending like a spastic for some reason.
I'd be quite happy for them to introduce month long bans for doing that sort of thing.
In principle so would I, but it's their own fault for introducing such a poor system.
I'm still in Division 9, which in theory is well below my station (I was in 6 last year before they changed the ranking bands and 4 afterwards), but I'm coming up against more and more people who are genuinely better than me. Doesn't help that I'm doing all this first owner I suppose, but I don't think I'd be much higher than 7 or 8 even if I wasn't.
They'd have to ban 90% of the community then.
If they made the objectives participate in Rivals rather than wins no one would do it.
Surely you could just attempt the objectives, and you'll naturally relegate anyway whilst getting a few wins done here and there.
If they made it 'participate' then everyone would get every token and the whole exercise would be meaningless. Completing objectives shouldn't be about just being there long enough. Having to win the required games is the only part of the entire implementation I unequivocally agree with.
How much time would be wasted though?
I'm a division 6/5 player which is filled with people who are 3/2 level right now.
The objectives themselves are mostly fine, they just shouldn't be played out in a game mode that wasn't at all designed to house them.
If they'd just kept tournaments and done them all in there it would have worked perfectly. e.g. win x number of tournament games with a starting squad including 7 first owned Brazilians.
I was'nt around for the tournament days but it sounded like a great time to play. Why did they remove it?
I'm Division 6 level too, and you're right, a lot of the games I play are against opponents who should be divisions higher. But I sneak a few wins here and there, sometimes a late draw (one with 10 men last night against someone WAY better than me, which was incredibly satisfying), and generally it feels more enjoyable when I do get the objectives done knowing that I've had a challenge.
Don't get me wrong, it's insanely frustrating when it's not working out, and I've complained on this thread a lot about it. Maybe I'm a sucker for punishment.
