Only made it to Gold 2 in Squad Battles last week, but still managed to pack TOTYN Bernardo Silva in the 25k pack reward, which was nice. Ended up 8-4 in FUT Champions (after starting 0-3), with not enough time to continue onwards.
This week is going to be busy for me before I'm off home for Christmas, so it remains to be seen how many of the objectives I can do for Gbamin and Mendes. Both look good though.
Those Futmas SBC’s from yesterday were genuinely appalling.
Need another good general SBC tonight to keep cracking on with Messi.

I'd like to do Rashford but I just don't think he's worth it.
I'm also not going to do Murillo as he wouldn't get into my lineup and I have better first owner La Liga CB's.

If I had a Serie A side I'd definitely do Murillo. He looks shit hot, and with an Anchor on he'll be impossible to get past.
Doing these objectives really is like wading through treacle.
I might well do Murillo given he strong links to Cuadrado.
Him and Davinson Sanchez would be about as good a bargain centre back partnership as you could make. I paid two hundred thousand odd coins for Varane and I reckon Murillo is a better all round centre back.

LW Mbappe has dropped to a far more agreeable price, but Hazard and 88 Kluivert have dropped more. Kluivert in particular will see me lose in the region of 150k if his price doesn't rebound once this surfeit of special cards in packs is over.
I think all mid-icons are starting to drop as primes will be in packs shortly.
Another 500 tradable common and rare golds, so that will net me another 250k, but after that it's tougher. Messi's price going up hasn't helped either. I may need to move into the realms of selling some players I didn't want to to do it now.Originally Posted by Danny

While he's not the cheapest 89 I did him with untradeables and can use him in Messi to turn him into the value of the cheapest 89 and with one more loan Futmas players tonight he allows me to complete all the Futmas gathering objectives.
I think he was one of the cheapest 3 when I did him last night, gone up in price over today though.
Used a lot of untradeables though anyway.

Three 89 squads all done, one of which (with the IF) done with what I had in the club. 859k of coins left and 4 squads to go which according to Futbin cost 855k.
Need Suarez for the 88 squad and then I'm done.

Played a dogshit team on Legendary on Squad Battles. Messi man of the match with 5 goals and 3 assists in a 12-0 win.
I can't tell how good he is though as the gameplay was horrendous.

3 83's was all I got from the Messi packs and they all came in one of the 50k packs.
Just played a couple of Rivals games to secure rank 3 and it was fucking painful.
The button lag was seriously noticeable (I usually don't have a problem), my players felt like they were sliding around slightly and the L1 switching was a complete toss up.
Played another Squad Battles game and it felt much better this time. 9-0 win and Messi on point again with 4 goals and 2 assists.
I have a Sniper on him on 7 chem so he gets 99 in all dribbling stats and he's unreal.
