He won two FA Cups, didn't he? Some might consider that great.
Xhaka pulling out of a tackle so he didn't foul the player and then reaching out a random arm at the bloke as he goes past which allowing him to dive is peak Arsenal defending in this era.
This arsenal goalkeeper does keep them in the game 99% of the time. He makes some great saves. Has he been the best player?
Spurs have been absolutely saved by the fecklessness of Arsenal and United. 1 win in 5 for each of them, and probably not much better before then. Spurs have lost 9 out of their last 10 away games (in all comps) apparently.
I wish we played like that more often. We can actually have a go against most teams. I can accept ten outfielders camped inside our six yard box vs Man City but against just about everyone else we can have a proper go, at least for periods in a game. It's certainly a lot more fun and I don't think many fans want another season like this one (in the league).
So we're set for a Europa League final of Chelsea v Arsenal with Arsenal needing to win to get into the Champions League. I can't see that going wrong in any way.
So my new working theory is that the lads at United were boosted by the idea of being rid of Mou and saw Ole as like "the cool sub" but then once he got installed permanently they realized their nightmare of piss poor management (in their view) was really never ending and lost all hope.
Neville thought they must have "switched off" once Solskjaer got confirmed as permanent manager. But why would you switch off once you knew he was the one who could decide your future?
Seems they're in real danger of losing both Mata and Herrera, two of the few players who have been competent recently.
Another tiresome game. Great stuff is there's only one game left.
I'm a twit
He's brainless.
Morelos has been teaching him.
More likely comes from his manager.
Because you don't want to play for an unproven manager who has won fuck all. Now you realize if you're hurt you're stuck in this mess for at least an entire new season, so you go out and do "just enough" but don't overexert yourself and start angling for a move away from the club. *shrug*
That's all McGregor. He's had that sort of idiocy in his game since he first broke through.
He kicks like a fucking mule.
That's amazing, I've never seen a goalie kick out like that.
Leeds, West Brom, Villa, Derby.
So fucking tasty
I'm away for the home leg
It must be awful to support derby.
Good to know soime Arsenal fans are keeping things in perspective.
Wasn't Harolds last name Lyndhurst thinking about it?
Burrow, isn’t it?
I'm a twit
lol
Rio turning down the Director of Football role because 'What happens if I muff it up and kids at my childrens school start making fun of them for it" is a surprisingly human reaction.
Hold on we actually OFFERED it to him?
Why not? That's what our lot did to a bunch of scousers. 22 ejected, 7 arrests.
We've actually been alright since the League Cup final. In fact, since the City shoeing.
I'd give him TIME really, he's a shit manager but now he's here we might as well do things his way rather than yet another year of pointless upheaval. And we have actually found a way quite a lot this year, especially away from home.
Anselmo Garcia McNulty is some name.
As a life long Liverpool fan and a scouser, I just cannot understand why people are so against us winning the league!? We do everything right as a club, play beautiful, flowing football. Charismatic, passionate manager. One of the best stadiums and atmospheres in the world ... and, we deserve it more than anyone for this season. Surely, if we win. Football wins?
Teddy, Toxteth. Liverpool.
The Manchester United lobby seems to be pushing this sentiment the most. You can imagine why that is
Foden looks out his depth
Now that's a dive.
I think either way it'll be pretty gutting for the team that don't win. City lose the chance at "back to back" titles and no domestic treble. Liverpool lose the league despite recording their highest point total ever (best Liverpool team ever).
What a fucking hit that was.
I thought he was mental when he was shaping up for it.
