    Stadium Tour

I went to watch the Arsenal game on Sunday. I had already visited the Emirates previously. I have visited over half the grounds currently in the Premier league and 27 other grounds between the championship and league 1. Im going to try and box off all the remaining stadiums in the league next season.

I was at Southmapton last week and I found the experiance better than Wembley the week before. Stoke and Norwich are tragic places to visit.

There is an interactive map below. Let me know which stadiums you have visited and ill add them to the map and w see how many in total as TTH have visisited. International venues count also.

I've been to the following grounds:

    Old Trafford
    Wembley (Old and new)
    Hillsbrough
    Boundary Park
    Villa Park
    The Bescot
    The Molineux
    St Andrews
    The City Ground
    The Hawthorns
    Highbury
    St Marys
    Portman Road
    Goodison
    Nou Camp
    Mestalla
    Jan Breydel Stadium (Bruges)

    I think that's it.

    Ive added them in.

I dont think I will be able to go to Anfield to watch Wolves prevent a league title. Would have been great though.

    Burnley - Turf Moor
    Crystal Palace - Selhurst Park
Leicester City - The King Power Stadium
    Man City - Etihad Stadium
    Spurs - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
    Watford - Vicarage Road

I need to make sure, I go to Burnley as they are the team who are most likely to get related. The others, can probably wait but I want to go hard next season.

    Old Trafford
    Goodison Park
    Vicarage Road
    King Power Stadium
    Molineux

    Turf Moor
    St. Mary's
    AMEX Stadium
    Cardiff City Stadium
    Craven Cottage
    John Smith's Stadium
    Carrow Road
    Bramall Lane
    The Hawthorns
    Villa Park
    Pride Park
    Ashton Gate
    Hillsborough
    Liberty Stadium
    City Ground
    Deepdale
    KC Stadium
    Ewood Park
    Griffin Park
    Britannia Stadium
    St. Andrew's
    DW Stadium
    Loftus Road
    Madejski Stadium
    New Den
    New York Stadium
    Portman Road
    Oakwell
    Fratton Park
    Stadium of Light
    The Valley
    Bloomfield Road
    Pirelli Stadium
    Adams Park
    Roots Hall
    Stadium MK
    Gresty Road
    County Ground
    Brisbane Road (Leyton Orient)

    Wembley Stadium
    San Siro
    De Grolsch Veste (FC Twente)

I've done Peterborough and Brentford if those are missing. Also Sevilla and Bayern Munich (the old ground) and various non league grounds. The rest will be the standard Prem ones.

I've been to the Bernabeu and Wanda Metropolitano. I think I posted about it at the time but the latter is miles better.

    German hipster efforts, all excellent:

Stadion an der Alten Foesterei (Union Berlin)
    Stadion Lichterfelde (Viktoria Berlin)
    Holstein-Stadion (Holstein Kiel)
    Esprit Arena (Fortuna Dusseldorf)
    Rudolf Harbig Stadion (Dynamo Dresden)

And Firhill Park, which is comfortably the worst stadium I've ever been to.

Aside from what’s up there I can add Elland Road, Valley Parade and Johan Cruijff Arena.

Watched a few games out here in the US too. “Colombus Crew Stadium” (proper FM name) and then one at Everbank/TIAA field (where the Jags play)

Columbus Crew Stadium is now MAPFRE Stadium, though idk if that matters to the purpose of the exercise.

All my English ones have been taken.

    Stade de Geneve (Servette FC)
    Stade Tourbillon (FC Sion)

edit: James stole my hipster Bundesliga Zwei one as well. Union Berlin might have the best atmosphere I've been to, shame I couldn't understand a word of the songs.

I kinda envy you guys. I'd love to do a tour of all the MLS stadiums or baseball stadiums in America but that shit is damn near impossible.

I feel like if you lot were so inclined you could reasonably be at any ground in the country within 7-8 hours. Orlando City's closest literal competitor is 6 hours 15 minutes away*. (*-in League play)

I once did Exeter to Carlisle which won't mean anything to you but at the time it was the longest away trip in the football league and it took about 7 hours.

I've only been to 5 in England but they're probably covered already (Old Trafford, Anfield, City Ground, Memorial Ground, wherever Scunthorpe play).

Loads of ones here if they count.
Tolka Park, Dalymount Park, Tallaght Stadium, Richmond Park, Eamonn Deacy Park, Carlisle Grounds, Ferrycarrig Park, Buckley Park (RIP), Finn Park, Athlone Town, Strokestown Road, Lansdowne Road, United Park, St. Colemans Park, RDS, Turner's Cross.

EDIT: I forgot also: Shamrock Park, Stangmore Park, Mourneview Park in NI.

    St. James' Park.

Easy. I've been to a couple of other sporting venues in the North East (The Northumbria Centre used to host Eagles games and Newcastle Arena) but nowt else. In terms of ones I've walked, driven, train past:

    Tynecastle
Murrayfield (they should play football there)
    Red Bull Arena (New York)
    Madison Square Garden
The Riverside (Boro, not Chester le Street)
    The Hawthorns
    Stadium of Light (not Benfica)

And I've flown over Highbury Estate and the Emirates. Never once even seen the Gateshead International Stadium.

I watched St Helens Town play at Knowsley Road too. Before they knocked it down and made it into premium quality apartments and homes.
