First trailer just dropped. No game play, it’s out November though.
Meant to be single player, no multiplayer and no micro-transactions.

Yeah, they're saying all the right things about it so fingers crossed.
That main character looks like he's straight out of the character creator with all the options set to default.
You'll excuse me if I'm not that excited when their opening gambit is to say We won't fuck everyone over this time, honest!
It's an EA product with about six months of build.
WHat are you talking about, it's been known Respawn was working on this game for years.
Okay, they've got a good recent track record with quickly announced games.
Some Respawn dude has confirmed that it'll be an action game, there won't be stealth etc.
Which is totally fine but I do also kinda want that Star Wars game too. Some sort of Hitman-inspired stealth in public areas where you kinda only use your Force powers or lightsaber as an absolute last resort. Not sure how you'd balance that but I love a bit of stealth gaming so I like the idea of it.
I just want Jedi Knight multiplayer again tbh. What a game that was.
I mean, yes and no. Do I, in principle, want KOTOR3? Yes, 100%.
Do I want this Bioware making it? 1000% no.
I wouldn't worry, EA are never 'wasting' their licence on a party based rpg. Not a good one anyway.
The new one of these is out on Thursday. I liked the first one so have pre-ordered it as I've got a bit of time off to get stuck in
Very much enjoyed the last one after having low EA-xpectations going into it. I do remember hardware struggled big time back then too, unless you had the PS Pro or One X/a good PC.
I can't really see it anywhere for less than £60 though, which is getting to be hefty these days.
I may take the notion to buy it new but depending on what other recent-ish stuff ends up sale I may just as likely go for something else and leave this until later.
I'm looking forward to it either way.
Sounds like it's coming in broken as fuck like the last one so I'll play it in a couple of years.
In the meantime I'm playing the first one that was dished out on PS Plus. It's .... fine. Way more Uncharted than a Dark Souls but I've also discovered the Star Wars fiction does nothing for me.
In the first one Kestis was a very inexperienced Jedi having had little to no training since Order 66.
Given he now has facial hair that means much time has passed and he should in theory be a fair bit more powerful. I'm interested to see how they balance that out.
I dunno about you but growing a beard doesn't take that long.
I wasn't being completely serious there.
Well it looks like he's kept all the abilities from the first one which is refreshing. And hopefully the new lightsaber/combat styles are fun and not just variety for its own sake but that side of it seems to be getting decent praise as well.
RPS' main gripe was that there's a lot of room on some pretty big maps which is mostly there to give you something to traverse or room to cram collectibles into.
Yeah, the level design is something I have had trouble with on the first game. I know the map tells you where you've been but I still look at all that verticality and think I'm missing something.
Enjoyed the gameplay of the first even if the story is gubbins and summat I'm not arsed about.
Picked this up for essentially more of the same.
Modern video game in "released when promised not when ready" shocker. More as we get it.
It's been fine on Xbox, just the PC version is borked.
I've been having a blast with it so far - the second planet you open up is massive and there's loads to do there. It nails the Star Wars-y stuff. The stances are the best new bit I think - currently mixing up between dual wield and dual blade
