That is another Neighbours staple. People get injuries and ailments, and then they just forget them once the writers get sick of having to work around it. Ringo had an eating disorder just to pass out in the pool; Frazer couldn't walk until they said it was all in his head; Toadie couldn't walk or get a lob on after a shooting until it went away for the drama; Susan's MS comes and goes depending on the storyline (usually flares up when some shithead she feels sorry for antagonises it); and so on.

I'm only 10 minutes into the first episode, but This Is Going To Hurt is really good. I'm not sure it'll hit quite the same for people without experience of working in healthcare, but I'd strongly recommend giving it a go (after you've all finished Mr Inbetween).

I thought it was.... okay? My main gripes are:
- It was largely pretty predictable. I didn't feel much of the "how's ol' Boba gonna get out of this one??" tension because we knew he had all these reinforcements coming. I am, inevitably, thinking back to the bar siege in Mandolorian series 1 where they hadn't found a way out the back of it and we didn't know what IG-11 was going to do.
- The rancor bit would have really benefitted from some more build up with him trying (and probably with mixed success) to do the rancor. As with so much else this series it needed more time, not just a five minute scene where he says he's gonna ride the rancor one day and then that's the end of it. It wasn't the OH FUCK YEAH fist-pump moment I'd have liked it to be.
- I get that it's meant to be about Fett building up this crew but I felt like he didn't get enough moments and, once again, just didn't feel like the star of his own show at the back end of the season.

Also a bit sad Cad Bane is dead (presumably) before he'd even really started in the live action stuff. I thought they'd have him get out of it and maybe set him up as more of a primary antagonist later. Fett suddenly donning him with the gaffi stick was a good moment though.

All worth it for Grogu leaping into Mando's arms though.

Billy bionic eye with the 360 spin shot though laughed out loud at that. There was a lot of bollocks wasted on side characters, Cad Bane was done dirty. Amy Sedaris' characters talks way too much. It was just the most foregone of foregone conclusions.
