Wasn't one of his private jets found with kilos of cocaine on it. I doubt it's all going to the taxman.

A referee has been suspended for three weeks for deciding a Women's Super League kick-off with a game of rocks, paper, scissors instead of a coin toss.

David McNamara made the error before Manchester City's home game against Reading on 26 October after leaving his coin in the dressing room.

I've forgotten a coin countless times as a cricket umpire, and the solution is to say 'Does anyone have a coin?' rather than begin a fierce bout of parlour games.

Rock Paper Scissors is more competitive and tests mental prowess. Should be given a promotion not a suspension.

Quite a few of those are on less than I would have expected. Him and 'Alexis' are the only really lol ones (and Lukaku obviously, but given the fee they paid it's not a surprise he's on something like that).

Ramsey has apparently signed with Bayern and rumors persist that Wenger will take over from Kovac at some point.

Coaches on the sideline maybe, but f one of the players is kicking about with their purse on the field that will not help build the reputation of women's football.

At the risk of sounding bitter can someone explain to me why so much is being made about this "44 pass team goal!" that City scored at the weekend?

They mostly just passed it about among themselves, many times going all the way back to the centerbacks.

Admittedly, the final few passes were very nice and they deffo deserved the goal and the result.

I'm just flat out not understanding what was so great about the 40 passes before it? It's not as if 95% of these passes are what forced the defense to fail to mark Gundogan in the box?

Because it summed up how absolutely awful you were at breaking down their passing moves.

Not sure why I didn't think of it at the time, but that was probably Mourinho proving some sort of point, like when he signed Steve Sidwell and Tal Ben Haim on frees for no reason.

Is that really it? Cause there's hardly a clever or incisive pass. I'm pretty sure I could sit around and kick it about back and forth with my friends when no one is really trying to nick the ball off of me.

I really don't understand how they can all claim that paying their staff a living wage would bankrupt them while giving Dickie 250 grand as a going away present.

If you've ever spent any time among the global monied classes, as in Switzerland no doubt you have, then you'll know that they have literally no awareness that the people serving their breakfast earn next to nothing. The thought has never crossed their mind.

Yeah but they pay the people serving their breakfast 19 quid an hour in Switzerland.

It's wild how different black peoples' noses are from the noses of all other people. Apart from Asian eyes it's probably the single most distinctive race-based feature around.

He's played about five minutes for the first team, supposedly quite quick and strong.

Fairly dissalusioned with football at the moment so don't pay much attention to the youth sides. Hopefully he will get a run soon, have had more than enough of Long, Redmond and Austin recently.

Daniel Sturridge's cousin put a £10,000 bet on him quitting Liverpool in January, which now forms a key part in the FA's investigation into whether the 29-year-old England striker broke strict betting rules.

Thought the Dutch were very impressive the other night. I assume the De Jong who was playing was the new 'Frenkie' one. He looked good. Wijnaldum too. Obviously some catastrophic team fallout is never far away, but they've looked a genuinely good team the last few times I've seen them.

It's high time all the do-gooders stopped letting Sterling off the hook because of race. The bloke is a fucking bottle job. Hides behind Aguero and Silva at City, no hiding place here.

Sterling for England is marginally improved from when he used to refuse to do anything at all when he had the ball in and around the area but making the wrong decision every time isn't much if an improvement on not making one at all.

For all the confidence Southgate misguidedly has in him it hasn't helped him develop a backbone.

Chilwell looks very assured. Super first touch on him. Nice ball in there as well.

Lingard is a great player to have around too, no discernible excellence but he always seems to rock up in the centre of things.

Lingers is old school United DNA. No skill that makes him discernibly better but always pops up in the big moments.

Edit: that is auto-correct I’m not Mahow.

I let him off then because he won quite a lot of those corners we scored from, but that's ultimately just a high-end version of what Matthew Etherington used to do for Rory Delap.

I just think the media (and maybe Sterling himself) need to come to terms with him being a daft bag of pace. He'll run for you but not really have the right idea when he reaches the destination.
