Having seen him in the flesh multiple times, Locadia is worryingly bad. To the extent that it is hard to determine what it is he's meant to be good at.
It's early days but Jahanbakhsh looks fairly toilet as well.
'mon the jinx!

The dangers of buying attackers from the Dutch league. Jahanbaksh looked like he could make the step up though.
Locadia is a striker who averaged less than ten goals a season in that league, fuck knows why anyone thought he'd be up to scratch.
He did have a shocker tonight. There've been good signs previously but yeah that didn't look too hopeful.
But Knockaert.
Brighton do seem like the type of team that's going to spend too big on someone, probably from Serie A, and it become an albatross around their neck.
How you get Gross in for 2m and then spend 15 on Izquierdo is just weird.
I really want Knockaert to do well even if he does seem a bit of a moody twat, guys gone through multiple seasons of being too good for the championship and too shit for the PL as well as all the emotional baggage of the last few years. It's the same for Matty Vydra and Dwight Gayle, that glass ceiling must be so frustrating.
This story doing the rounds about N'Golo Kanté rocking up at some bloke's house for a curry is the best.

What a man.
Knockaert's easily good enough, and he is a moody twat - but a hardworking, loveable one. Only really had one crack at a Prem season to be fair, having perhaps not been given a fair chance at Leicester (Max?).
edit- heh, Kante is great.

Izquierdo is an odd one to pick from the expensive Brighton spackers aisle.
At least he has a thing, even if he lacks any composure whatsoever. Locadia has no thing.
Shame he seems to have been taken hostage during or after the world cup.

Jack Wilshere out for about six weeks.
Didn't take long.
What a complete mess he is. The new Joe Cole, with a quicker ascent to injured waster.
Joe Cole didn’t smoke.
I'm a twit
And he had a better career. Jack is more like Keiron Dyer.
Arselol's Chief Exec gone to Milan.
For an extra mil a year and an equity stake in the club. Dogshit transfer negotiator but well played, sir.
