I think his TOTS card will be exactly the same as this POTY card anyway. Same for Sterling. It would seem daft to keep a TOTY card below that rating, but then having 3 cards at 96 makes little sense.

I'm totally addicted to this SBC grind. I've nearly gone through the big 4 leagues again since Saturday.
The pack weight is disgusting, but it's almost impossible not to make coins from it when you factor in the big rated reward cards at the end of each league.
How you do it? Most efficient method?
If you don't have many coins/loads of time/love a grind then bronze pack method.
You can then make bronze upgrades using off-league non rares, you can then put the rare bronze off leagues in the Icon SBCs, you can use the league SBC bronzes (CSL, Saudi, J-League and A-League mainly) to build those SBCs. You can then use the off league silvers you got from the other packs etc etc.
The most efficient (for time) method though is just going and buying the players ofc.
I ended up 2 tokens short (1 objective missed, and once I realised I could get what I wanted, I sacked off the last SBC) for the icon. I went for FUT Birthday Meunier and 87 Werner instead. I've also been sort of working on the league SBCs, for the Bundesliga in particular. Just Nürnberg to finish off but that'll cost 20-30k. I'm not sure whether to take the LM Gnabry or the CDM Delaney once I finish it off.
Ended up having my best ever Weekend League too. I was struggling at 8-9 on Saturday, but dragged it back and went on a good run to get to 17-10. Unfortunately I lost game 28 to prevent me from pushing for Gold 1 but it was a top weekend nevertheless. Eusebio scored 19 goals in the last 7 games alone.
Oh, and 86 Wass is amazing.
I'm still refining it Sincere, but Mahow has it broadly on the money.
The leagues that offer the best value are definitely the big 4 and BPM into the silver player upgrade packs definitely helps with some of the shitters. China, Saudi Arabia and to a lesser extent Japan are good for bronzes.
The French league is a bit moody and I've absolutely no idea what you need to do to pack the players to complete Liga Nos outside the big three teams.
I'm just heading out for a run, but I'll be streaming from 10:30 ish if you fancy a peak. It might be a tad dull though.

I don't understand what it is about his card. It is mad. Its 8 months into FIFA and I still don't understand how my opponents can jockey my every move and follow everything I do and stick a foot in. I just can't do it.

Like I said last night, it's strangely enjoyable, grinding through the packs. I'm free to stick on a show or a stream in the background and while away time without getting annoyed at the game.
Packed 2 silver Genoa defenders in the first 7 bronze upgrade packs too - both would sell for 10k apiece so not a bad start.
I'd be finishing off the major 5 leagues again tonight probably were it not for the teams still left in the Champions League and the SBC potential from that.

It’s definitely profitable if you concentrate on club value. I finished Vieira last night with 850k in the bank. I’ve dropped 30k since then, but have added tradeable Alderweirald, Pique and 2 x Wiesel along with a whole bunch of 83-84 duplicates, more players for the grind and stepped about 20 teams closer to the various SBC reward players and never dropping below 2200 ‘on league’ players in the club at a time.
One last attempt at serious WL and if I can't finish elite 3 with Big Virgil, I officially give up

I opened my first two silver players pack today, and immediately got a Huesca keeper, who sells for 15k. Not to mention a 74 Strasbourg silver (3.5k). These have paid off already.
They are great, I will keep going until I a) pack an icon from the SBC and b) get enough silvers to do the Dutch league.

Since doing BPM I've been using BINs to try and move things quickly. I've had a Japanese bronze (who I bought for 650) listed at 700/2400 for 2 days, I just changed it to 850/2300 and he was snapped up instantly.
Someone could have had a bargain quite a few times over the last 2 days but they just couldn't be bothered.
It's a great way to cut the cost of this too.
Whack a load of bids on and then move onto the next team and come back.

At the start of FIFA 20, Ive already made up my mind to spend about £500 on FIFA points during week 1 of the game.
I'm toying with a number of options for FIFA20 and this is one that's crossed my mind too.

My current plan for '20 is to ban myself from non-icon SBCs, save POTM. Try and have everything be tradeable. I'm toying with doing pack pulled only, until TOTY, but that could get quite limiting. Say I manage several good players but never get a 'keeper for example.
Either way seeing Yev tick it along nicely til TOTY then just casually buy Mbappe makes me want that.

I caved and did them last night. 82 and 83 Roma players were the best. I never get anything actually good from these UCL Marquee matchups. Dembele remains my best UCL pull and I got him on day 1 from the expensive version add ons.
