Managed to go from nothing to having done all of the weekly objectives, minus Wass and Felix, in one sitting.
At one point I thought I'd fucked it by leaving it this late, but thankfully the Italian one didn't require wins as well. I have 12 tokens with just needing the squad battles one now. Then it's a case of getting the last one via SBC and it's time to open the Icon pack.
Given the price of icons right now. My guess is, they will give us the moments versions of the missing icons soon. Listening to the community and all.
I will have two icons when SB pays out. Not sure what to do with them.

Bought that left back Salah card and noticed nothing above the PVA card I had from FUTMAS. Maybe I need to tweak my tactics. He should be the ideal attacking full back really.
The ideal attacking full back is TOTY Marcelo.
Yeah his shooting isn't as good (especially when you look at the detailed stats) but all the other stats are in his favour plus he has an extra skill move and an extra weak foot.
Yep, TOTY Marcelo is comfortably the best attacking full back. I had the idea a while ago to replace him with FUT Birthday Salah due to the massive difference in cost, but he's not even close. He should be, but he just wasn't.
Well, yeah, TOTY Marcelo is the outright winner but looking at Salah he should be up there with him. Just doesn’t feel like a 90+ rated full back.
Marcelo is so good going forward that he's wasted at LB.
Depends who else you gave in the team and how you use him at full back.

Been hammering the annoying SBC's I had left from the major 5 leagues. Just need to buy Stones and Delph to finish Man City (which I'll do when that SBC drops off and they fall in price) and that's all 5 done again. Cost me a fair few coins, but I did save some from BPM and can now go round the loop again.
Been working towards Bobby Moore and Ruud Gullit on the side too, although I'll probably put the former into the latter when I get him.

Bobby Moore's quite good. Perhaps even better when I can keep enough clean sheets to stick that weekly objective Shadow on him.
Beat him 2-0. I know the actual cards don't make a huge difference in a players ability once the game starts and its more down to the user and random fifa madness. But that is some team the lad has.
That's 6 of 14 of Gullit done. Used a fair few untradeables, but haven't had to make any tough choices thus far.
My Icon tonight will make it 7/14 which will leave the following to do:

I got excited when I saw the Dutch flag as it could have been Cruyff or Gullit, but it's meh. Unfortunately his base card doesn't offer much as his passing and shooting are awful. Still, 300k saved on a potential future Icon SBC.
Oh and now is a good time to buy TOTY VVD. The bizarre decision to have his new card at 96 has caused a bit of a fire sale. You can get him for near 900k on Xbox.
I got Alisson from my SB rewards which is nice.
Del Piero for me, who I suppose is one of the more usable ones. A pack only game and I'd be fapping myself silly, but as it is he'll go towards Gullit.
Bugger all from my Squad Battles Elite 1 rewards and Cuadrado and a load of 83s from turning Del Piero in.
In other matters, I've been doing this SBC grind over the weekend and having opened a shit load of packs I've either had abysmal luck or the pack weight is worse than ever. 3 walkouts from what must be over 100 packs, albeit some not great ones in there.
I got that spanish legend who ive never heard of as my reward. That VVD looks nasty. Surprised it is better than his TOTY though. Surely, that should be the best version of the card ever.
Glad I took a couple of high rated IF's with my Fut Swaps after all, seeing how you lot have gotten on.
Should i buy the TOTY VVD for 1m or does his POTY card about the same price?
TOTY = Cheaper, slightly worse but tradeable.
POTY = More expensive, better, untradeable and 200kish of packs back.
Up to you which sounds the better deal. I personally would take the TOTY card. I don't think the other one is going to be noticeably better. If you were going to buy the TOTY version before, this has saved you a few hundred thousand coins.

Finished prime Vieira with my B team and 500k thrown in after selling my middle one. It all puts me on 870k now, and still on 2,300 players in the club.
His Prime is majestic. Scored on his debut full of interceptions, and is a lot better on the ball.
